My favorite way to play is on Steam Deck with the touchscreen and gyro controls.

What a shameful choice Rockstar has made. I have over 15,000 hours across 3 platforms, 2 accounts and multiple characters. Today marks the first day in 11 years that I am uninstalling a Rockstar game. Intentional nuking Linux and by extension the Steam Deck is not an oversight, it is an intentional choice. Rockstar has made some absolutely bewildering choices across the last decade, all of which have seen me sticking by their side, trying to understand their rationale.

Not this time. What a monumental ♥♥♥♥ up of a decision to use Battle Eye.
