Great survival game with good replay. It's usually not the kind of game I play but I'm surprised in good! The inventory management might need some adjustements but it is a good price for what it is.

Edit: Dev said the inventory system is being reworked (might have spoilers in the comments though): https://steamproxy.net/app/1266840/discussions/0/3203744275144820319/

The new mythical mod is great, finally able to have single entity heroes and abilities! I don't really get it with the negative reviews such as "clunky UI" or "ripped off historical mod" which was the first mod in this game on the Epic Store 1 year ago... Maybe the UI is a little bit clunky yeah, for example it's not very clear when it's an enemy or an ally because it's only an icon., but it's a little detail... Maybe it would have been better to take as an example warhammer 2 with the colors of the settlements/armies that indicate clearly the attitude towards another faction. Also I would say that I would prefer to have the lighting less orangy, but there is going to have mods to change this soon enough.

TL;DR: I really like this game compared to the one released 1 year ago on the epic game store, there is some imperfection but mods will customize your game as you wish and currently it's still very enjoyable.

Played this game about 6 hours, this game had a good potential.
The first problem is this game is not a real free2play but more like a mmo with subscription with a trial edition which end when you reach the 60 level skillcap (just like WoW with the max level 20 but easier in MO).
Second thing, the level design of the world is very cheap, buildings are like big cube even at max graphical settings.
Third thing, informations are hard to reach, for example, the servers were unaccessible yesterday night and there was nowhere to check their status.
Here come the worst part of the game, the griefers. Before I explain what happened, I have to say how the criminal system works, if someone attacks another player, he will be targeted as a criminal, if a guard is near the area, the guard will kill the criminal. Other players will be able to attack the criminal without being flaged as criminal. Of course some people will abuse of this system.
While I was killing some skeletons at the 'safest' capital to buy the last part of my armor set from the auction house (which were sold by players), a random player put himself between me and the skeleton (which was dealing a lot of damages). So to not be targeted as a criminal, I had to aim to nothing which was successful. Funny thing is, npc are not attacking with skillshot like players but simply deal damage when in range to its target. So while this griefer was standing between me and the skeleton, the skeleton was continuing to attack me. Of course as expected, I tried to kill fast enough the skeleton to don't have to deal with the griefer, but I touched the other player when he was beside the skeleton and the attack touched the player when I wasn't even seeing him. To be short, I was then killed by the player. Ironny here you come, when I checked the auction house after, my items which I bought from the same auction house were in store.

The main counter-argument is "yeah but it's a hardcore pvp mmo, blabla", problem is, the mechanics of the game encourage griefing, and bad manners. Just look at this post on the official forums which is tolerated: http://www.mortalonline.com/forums/threads/rpk-vs-noobs.123362/

Anyway, the game was launched in 2009 and some flash mmorpg back in 2004 had better graphics than this ♥♥♥♥.

10/10 I will never touch this garbage again.
