So much fun, chill jazzy soundtrack and excellent in-game noises. Everything is also so cute! It's a challenging game but not impossible!

Heads up: this is couch co-op by nature, but you CAN use Steam's Remote Play feature to enjoy this game with a friend on steam who is not in your house.

My tip for Remote Play for Pizza Possum is to make sure the friend you're inviting does not have the game open when you set up remote play, and to ensure you click the little remote play icons for KBM or Controller as you set it up. If you have two KBM players, one uses WASD + E while the other only uses Up/Down/Left/Right + Enter. When you get into co-op, you might think it's not working if you forget you are "sharing" a keyboard like I just illustrated.

If you've never used Remote Play before, when you have a game open, shift+tab out to your friends list. It will have a highlighted invitation to invite a friend to play with you near the top. They've made it quite a bit nicer to use. I hope this helps!

I really like this game. Great overall experience. Even just the main screen is so beautiful and detailed, it's a pleasure to sit in the lobby and look around. 10/10 would recommend - beginner friendly but also able to ramp up to an intense workout if you want it! Detailed review by category:

DLC & Music options: There's a nice mix of genres - and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of harder rock/punk etc options. I bought all of the DLC, and generally I think every pack is worth it. The Electroswing, Caravan Palace, Fixt, and Synth Essentials packs are great value purchases though - full of bangers.

Physical Movement: Once you are used to the cadence of the game, it's a more dance vibe than Beat Saber. Having played Normal through Expert, you can really work up a sweat on Expert/Master levels, or just enjoy a nice cardio dance without too much muscle stress on Normal/Hard. The range is nice, and each version is fun - not just a discount version of the hardest levels. I like the range of motion in this game - it feels less monotonous.

Colourblind Accessibility: You can change the game wand colours to anything you want on the RGB spectrum, and there are at least 8 textures for blocks to choose from, if not more. I have not looked at more accessibility options, but would be happy to do so if desired.

Bugs, Mods, & Custom Songs: About the same complexity as Beat Saber for custom songs. Joining their discord is the best way to stay up on instructions and any issues, though there are comparatively few things to break compared to Beat Saber. YUR fit mod (heart rate sensor) is built in, and works like a dream, you don't even have to mod it.

Streaming/Content creation: A fair amount of the songs are free to monetize. They've provided a handy page for you to review your rights with each: https://synthridersvr.com/music-licensing/

Room and cam set-up/customisation: A nice amount of options here, and easy to set up. I haven't explored into green screen or mixed media capture with a camera though, so look elsewhere for that feedback.

Others: There are a fair amount of community challenges put together for you, or that you can put together if you want. I haven't participated, but it looks like it could be fun.

I played this game for hundreds of hours on my boyfriend's account through family share. I finally got it for myself, and now I have to beat all my own high scores.

Maybe I'd have liked this game better if I hadn't just come off 100 hours of Hades. I found the progression to be un-intuitive and the puzzles to be dead easy. It was kind of like a really boring escape room where the only hard puzzles were just hard because they were vague.

Plus any game that flashes a bright white screen at me whenever I lose a round is just trying to make me rage.

Bro, I want to sit in the dark and play a gorram spooky game. Do not yeet white light into my face.

Based on the other reviews about how this changes 1/3 of the way through to a story game, I honestly just regret this purchase.

Received a free copy through the Hugo 2021 voter's package benefits, as Hades is up for Best Video Game award. Thanks Supergiant, thanks Hugos.

Well balanced, nicely challenging, nuanced, great writing, gorgeous art, excellent soundtrack and voice acting... it's really a no-brainer to rec this game.

Good game, very pretty. Took me 2h15m to complete while streaming and chatting. Someone else said 1h30m so I just wanted to update values for anyone who is multitasking.

Would recommend.

Black Mesa is my first foray into the Half Life universe. It is honestly SO worth the money. It's funny, fun, challenging, interesting, and there are lots of cool hidden easter eggs to find out. The last half of the game is insane. You will be tantalised on your journey as Gordon Freeman. Make sure you stop to look at the pictures on the walls and be curious - explore!

If you're looking for a fun game to play with a larger group, Pummel Party fits 8 participants. It's kind of like Mario Party in that you have minigames and you collect rewards on a map to be crowned the winner. It's unlike MP in that it's brutal, hilarious, disastrous, and metal AF. You can cap the rounds to determine the length of your games. 20 rounds is good fun for about 2 hours. A worthwhile investment - hopefully they open up to community creators!
