Further Info
I believe having over 2K hours gives me the proper right for a tough review to VT2.

VT2 is a co-op game in its core, can be easy, can be diffucult depends, can be fun, can be sad, can be frustrating. Emphasis on frustrating.

FatShark has proven over the years of Vermintide that they can make a really good game, but they don't know how to maintain the game and keep it alive.

Don't get me wrong, I love VT2, as it is the ONLY game on the market that's so good with the voice acting, gameplay, combat and (somewhat) graphics.

But, the game lacks improvement. No proper support. We barely get 1 or 2 meaningful updates throught the year, almost no new content (Don't tell me a paid DLC is content, no, the careers were already announced basically when the game was released, also careers behind paywall is a nono AND they are OP af).

◉ BUGMENTIDE. When I tell you it is a crash & bugfest just believe me.
◉ Brain-dead AI
◉ Stupid enemy factions (Beastmen)
◉ Lack of new maps
◉ Stupid quick play that gives you same maps over and over because its not really random, but based on a specific mathematic formula that checks all players map percentage
◉ Broken host migration
◉ Best difficulty (Cata) is locked behind a paywall
◉ Broken weapon DLCs (Jav, Trollpedo, ex-moonbow [now dead]
◉ Broken meta (stagger, stagger, and more stagger)
◉ Lack of official modding support, we no longer are getting anything sanctioned, instead, they try to implement them into the game in a degraded quality
◉ HUGE ASS SIZE ?! I don't care if the maps and assets aren't compressed. I am no longer willing to keep a game with 100GBs+ because "It makes it faster by 0.001 seconds"
◉ Broken enemy spawns (Pop-up, invisible attacks, Muted attacks etc...)
◉ Failed promises by FatShark (Dedicated servers, Versus, always delaying DLC releases)
◉ Chaos Wastes, because yes, we want to get rid of our thousands of hours crafting and collecting red-dust just to play a game-mode that is broken af with god-like boons and randomness.

And the list really goes on. It is sad to see my favourite game being killed, but I'm glad they are reviving it with DarkTide.

From this point onwards, I will not be playing VT2 anymore and won't buy any future DLC because support will be close to non-existant once DT releases, and that's a fact.

See you in DarkTide 2022 (?).

That's besides the point.

You do not purchase a game to play on the modded realm where nobody can join unless they inv. You or you inv them.

And since there is no official modding support to the game, it won't last much as you can already see, players are barely pushing 1 or 2 mods every now and then. Modding with LUA isn't really easy specially on VT2 where most mods crash the game update after update (Looking at you UI Tweaks).

That mod you mentioned is nice, I've tried before, but like I said, I don't want to force my friends to install mods and play modded realm just because the base game is lacking.

I've lost interest in playing VT2, which is honestly sad.

I feel you man. But there is a mod that reignited my love for the game and maybe it does the same for you. Check Peregrinaje in the workshop. Its reeeeally good. I love it so that I ended up helping the creator with its testing. And he is going to make more game modes. If you ever feel like trying it out hit me up and I can find a group easily. Cheers bro!

Sad but true my man.. only reason most players are still here is because there is no competition in this exact genre.

I have a huge backlog of SP games and I'll be playing those till DT is here. (Assuming it doesn't disappoint :3)
