Ahh I love this game, it's been with me since Childhood and so has Left 4 Dead 1, if you haven't already, please do yourself a favor and pick this up, either on sale or for full price, with countless mods and the base game itself, you'll find yourself trying new things or replaying the same thing over and over with varying results each time.

I haven't played alot of it, I've seen alot of gameplay and now have finally played this game for myself

People have very good reasons and I see why when I see good things about this game, if you enjoyed games like QUAKE, DOOM, Unreal Tournament or just anything that can even range to Half Life, you will certainly love DUSK.

..Time to go blow more hours into it.

Do not get this game

I'll think over an actual review sometime later but the cliff notes of this review are what I have to think.

This game is just the same game, same engine from the past game, same grind and not that new player friendly unless you already have others to help walk you through it, and even then, if you don't you're SOL, and not that many clans would be willing to take in newer players, most of the stuff like Exotics and Legendaries you see nowadays are earned through grindy farming which is done by playing in Crucible, which you'll just get your butt handed to you on a silver platter by those who know the meta like the back of their hand, or by playing Reckoning or doing Strikes, PVE Mode that teams you up with 2 other players by pitting you against waves of enemies, some puzzles and a final boss that's a sponge.

Nightfalls, another PVE Mode that you HAVE to have people already with you in order to team up 3 is the max, which this case it's just a recycled strike but tuned up to have the enemies hit harder, and be spongier.

And FINALLY, Raids.. Ha okay good luck finding a good clan or team that will take a new player along if you want the actual good gear that comes with them.

Why haven't I talked about Crucible more in depth? Because let me set it straight, the mode is consistent of salt after salt, and people willing to use and abuse the meta because it's just not fun to have yourself mopped the floor with by someone who knows and does more than you.

I'll leave off on a final note: Do not buy Forsaken or Shadowkeep or even INSTALL unless you're really sure you're up for the grind and farming that requires you to be on religiously, and the game does nothing else interesting to keep you in besides a few content updates that run dry. This games newfound hype will die out, give or take, nothing lasts forever.

What is there to be said that hasn't already been said about Black Mesa? In just my tens of hours of playing this over the course of a few years on and off, I have to say Black Mesa is probably the greatest standalone remake that's been made so far, it has stayed true to the original whilst also adding in it's own flavors and twists, and with Xen on the way I can't help but feel there's so much more untapped potential that we could be having here.

Well, I can say WF is a good game, it's really good, and I do recommend it above all else, but this is to be a wake up call, and a reminder to be cautious about sinking anything into this game

I spent a good maybe 100+ $ atleast and logged 243 hours into this game, enjoying all of what it had to offer to me, and one day, I can't logon amidst a growing problem, I read "negative plat balance" so I think weird, so I open up a support ticket asking what was going on and maybe see what I had done wrong, but a day later I realize what's up and add a comment onto my ticket stating that I knew what was going on and stated that it was being taken care of by the bank, I wait 8 or so weeks and see what they'd say, now keep in mind they technically can't take back content that's used within the game atleast from my understanding, so i'm left with a -4084 Plat balance which was accumulated by me purchasing the previous Prime Access *Chroma* and some other platinum bundles for more stuff within WF, so fast forward over to late January, I get an Email saying my tickets been responded to, I check it out.. I get the zendeskbot telling me the same crap I was told when I looked this problem up to investigate further about what it meant, and afterwards my ticket was closed.. and I just resigned myself from WF, my acc forever locked because -4084 plat translated over to real world currency is just 100+ USD for me to spend in order to get back in..

Now the takeaway: Warframe isn't a bad game by any means, it has its own lovely community, a tight knit thing of systems and mechanics, etc etc, but the only bad I got with it.. is the Customer Support, there have been some reviews complaining about it and it hasn't been solved from what I've heard.. so until this get's fixed, I have to leave this here so DE can open their eyes and get better at supporting a larger audience who may run into troubles like these.

Edit: As of a few days ago, I've casted off my -4084 Debt and am playing Warframe again, but this will not change my review one bit, my point still stands and I hope they look back on it and dozens of other reviews like this and fix their Support.

Tripwire comes back into the market with KF 2, to the legendary game of the before-times, Killing Floor, KF2 takes you to a series of new locations and brings in new and old perks and you can even play with every single perk with just one class because you feel like it, but you'll be earning XP whilst using that perk class' weapons or you'll be earning XP for both thanks to the multi-perk system where you can use a weapon you like for the perk you like, basically Tripwire gives you a whole list of perks to choose from just incase you need it for a specific situation you may encounter during your gameplay, the maps I want to say are kinda better than the first but not too far out the ball park as there still is a little feeling of claustrophobia within the maps themselves, but otherwise the maps are just spectacular to play on!

The Zeds themselves have changed quite alot since you've probably last seen them in KF 1, there are new variants of zeds to watch out for, Cysts, Slashers, Gorefiends, Quarterpounders, Alphas, Elites, the list goes on, but they have certainly upped the lethality of the Zeds since the first, nothing too underpowered and nothing too overpowered as TWI has found the perfect balance inbetween with the zeds.

Last but not least, the music, oh lordy do I love the music, from Demon Hunter to Impending Doom, this game is the definition of a Metalhead's dream game as this soundtrack is metal as F U C K, and I love it to bits! May not fit the mood for most people, but it does for me! Keep up the potential for this game, TWI.

Rust to me started off as a good game, I started back during the Blueprint days, it was simple and it made the game more fun and interesting in my honest opinion, it gave people a reason to stay because it encouraged people to go out and find blueprints for things like guns and armor pieces and whatnot, then XP came along and it made clans even more powerful because if you were Solo when a wipe happened, you were ♥♥♥♥♥♥ because the second you get onto a server with a top clan? They'd already have AK's and full armor by 2 hours later where as you'd have a measly little waterpipe and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to boot after 4 hours of grinding materials.

Rust was fun to me, Rust used to be the game I turned to whenever I looked at games like ARK, now it just became the new ARK, where clans are encouraged and you can never have the fun you were able to have before with just like 2-3 people, gunplay, the game and the community have turned to crap.

Unless this game goes on sale and you can withstand the salt of your own self, or the team can somehow bring this game back from the state it's in, I highly recommend not buying Rust, ever, this game used to be something, now it's just a cesspool of screaming kiddies and racist old bags of crap.
