This game is designed to be very frustrating to play (which it is) in the hopes that you will get so bothered you will spend money to avoid some of the frustration. On top of this, they manage to make the grind even worse with every update. Even with a premium account it can take a ridiculous amount of time to unlock just one vehicle. Dont play this game unless you hate yourself and your sanity.

Edit: They have continued to make this game EVEN MORE GRINDY while adding more mechanics that no one wanted that only make the game more frustration to play. Absolutely do not play this game.
