Short Game Description
Borderlands: The Pre-sequel is a great prequel for Borderlands 2, which aids in better understanding Handsome Jack throughout an entertaining adventure.
  • Positives
Discussing the positives, first of all, the shooter-looter formula is at its best, with a wide variety of well-designed maps, a selection of unique weapons, and a range of enemies, including bosses. Secondly, the difficulty progression was fairly good, without any need to undergo a serious grind through the areas. Finally, the plot was certainly much better and interesting as it had some significance, not like the other games where the story just sucked.
  • Negatives
On the negative side, there weren't any serious flaws besides that Lilith's a terrible character that just irritates with its pressences, as she seems to never learn and be blatantly unfazed by the consequences of her acts.
Conclusion
Borderlans: The Pre-sequel, probably the best game for Borderlands, standalone, manages an addictive shooter-looter game with a vast variety of content and somewhat an entertaining plot, which the other games didn't manage to. The only problem it has is Lilith, a bad-written character that just earns the hate of most who interact with her. The game is an 8.5/10.

Short Game Description
Borderlands GOTY Enhanced created the best shooter-looter formula, which later on will continue to improve. As a vault hunter, we will be seeking the vault and, in the process, fighting multiple bandits and monsters on the lawless, desolate planet, Pandora.
  • Positives
Discussing the positives, there is not much to say; the formula is very addictive and gives much variety to the game as you are constantly switching weapons and getting new mechanics that are applied to the combat, with different characters that feature unique abilities. Too, the game farming is pretty entertaining, as there are different qualities of weapons where some enemies drop specific ones, which can be interesting if you like a particular weapon. Besides that, the world building is fair decent, with a vast multitude of maps making it quite livelier.
  • Negatives
About the negatives, the story is uninteresting at best, making the storytelling awful overall. It just doesn't click off, even if the adventure has many different maps and some relatively interesting characters. About the DLCs, some of them were hilarious but ended up being most of the time tedious, where clearly there was a lack of ideas. Too, the game design was off, forcing you to walk unnecessarily a good amount of time instead of putting fast travel stations. Finally, the difficulty didn't increase correctly, having some times to undergo a long farm session to be enough levelled up to not be obliterated by the overlevelled enemies at some times. Additionally, the car implementation was bad; it didn't do practically any damage, to the point you can do more than the double of damage with your handguns.
Conclusion
To sum up, the game has a great formula for a shooter-looter game that does well at having a vast variety of entertaining content, at least for now compared to the next Borderlands games. But it lacks in the DLCs as they are mostly filler, the gameplay does not increase difficulty properly, and the story is dull. The game is a 7.25/10.

Short Game Description
Song of Saya is an incredible horror visual novel, where the main character, Sakisaka Fuminori, survives a terrible accident and, after that, starts to live in a nightmare; he sees humans as masses of meat and intestines, and the same as the whole setting, making it a complete madness. Until he meets Saya, who will get emotionally dependent as she's the only human being he meets in his world...
  • Positives
Discussing the positives, there is not too much to say; just play it. The convoluted story is so intriguing with a constant story development that continues to get messier as we unravel the entire truth. The game does well on making you consider your moral values, as the plot leaves you with some situations with mixed feelings, unable to think straight. About the endings, they were pretty good, especially the bad one.
  • Negatives
On the negative side, even if it's a visual novel, some extra scenes for some situations would make the game better and more enjoyable. Also, even if the story was pretty good, some times there were some plot holes, which made it hard to believe certain situations.
Conclusion
To sum up, it's an awesome game and one of the best original stories I've had the pleasure of experiencing. Even if it had some plot holes, the madness in which we get into was quite intriguing, with great endings for this incredible story. The game is a 9/10.

Short Game Description
In Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes, we play as Lilli, a small, shy, obedient girl that lives in a convent school under the heavy-handed guidance of Mother Superior, where she befriends Edna, the protagonist of the previous game, who will embark on an adventure to stop Dr. Marcel's evil plans, who wanted to undergo psychological treatment. This premise, combined with the point-and-click game, managed to create a very interesting adventure with original puzzles.
  • Positives
Discussing the positives, first of all, the adventure that it brings as the prequel was exciting with a huge variety of scenarios, puzzles, and unique charismatic characters with a constant refreshing story-telling. Secondly, as a point-and-click game, it does it very well with their original challenging puzzles that now, moreover, bring new interesting mechanics based on restrictions that you will need to comply with and could be lifted one of them, which will require you to think outside the box and be creative overall, as most of the puzzles you need to solve in order to advance are convoluted. Thirdly, the general setting and artistic style fit well and are still great.
  • Negatives
On the negative side, I didn't find anything remarkable.
Conclusion
In short, it is another great point-and-click sequel game with an enjoyable plot and charismatic characters with an intriguing premise with new challenging puzzles based on lifting restrictions. The game is a 7.75/10.

Short Game Description
Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection is a 2D side-scrolling action platform game, a remake of one of the most memorable classic games, and infamous for the unforgiving difficulty that it provides. With updated graphics and multiple difficulty choices, it gives a hardcore experience or an easier one depending on your choice, making it more accessible.
  • Positives
Discussing the positives, first of all, the game general setting is a great improvement that maintains the essence of the classic game, which has a quite appealing colour palette. Secondly, the difficulty is insanely hard, making it a good choice for players who seek an exceptional choice. Thankfully, the remake provides different difficulties to make it more user-friendly while still being challenging. Finally, the world is great; there are a wide range of scenarios, enemies, and bosses that make it quite lively. Additionally, the soundtrack is great.
  • Negatives
On the negative side, I despise that some enemies could spawn in your face while advancing, being practically impossible to avoid and quite unfair, especially in the hardest difficulty. Too, the difficulty, which was obviously unforgiving, was reasonably tolerable, but there were some sections that were insanely ridiculous and required pixel-perfect precision. Also, with the foregoing, the clunky controls and sluggish manoeuvres of the knight character were irritating throughout all the game. For the last, what you must do in order to get the true ending verges on the absurd; everything you did until that moment was """easy""" compared to the new changed levels.
Conclusion
To sum it up, it's a decent game that does great as a remake of the classic without altering the original essence, led by a great soundtrack and artistic style. But the controls are horrible and hard to enjoy, moreover with the infamous and ridiculous scenarios that there are as you progress in the game. The game is an 6.75/10.

Short Game Description
7 Billion Humans is a visual programming-based puzzle game where we will need to create a set of instructions as we did in the previous game, Human Resource Machine, but now we take into account the position of each worker and its surroundings, which can be viewed as a matrix of workers, walls, empty tiles, and resources of the level.
  • Positives
Discussing the positives, first of all, the game is an entertaining visual programming game that does well at explaining the instructions that will appear throughout the game, making it increasingly harder. It doesn't matter if you have not ever programmed, which will be obviously harder, as the progression is great, and even if you are used to programming in languages such as C, it will still be a great challenge to complete the whole game. There is an extra difficulty challenge if you want to complete all the objectives of the level, as it will take into account how many steps it takes to complete the level and the amount of instructions used. The ambiance for the game is still unique and appealing.
  • Negatives
About the negatives, as in the previous game, some levels are not possible to be completed perfectly with the number of steps taken and the set of instructions size, which personally for me in some levels gets unnecessary, even if it gives a bigger challenge.
Conclusion
7 Billion Humans is a fantastic sequel for Human Resource Machine; it teaches the basics of the programming languages and increases the challenge at the latest levels for the public used to program. It's a perfect option for programmers and non-programmers in an entertaining format with the uniqueness setting by Tomorrow Incorporation. The game is an 8/10.

Short Game Description
Human Resource Machine is a visual programming-based puzzle game where we will need to create a set of instructions in order to complete a specific task, which can also be translated as a program.
  • Positives
Discussing the positives, first of all, the game is a pretty fun visual programming game that does well at explaining the different instructions that appear throughout the game, making the game increasingly harder. It doesn't matter if you have not ever programmed, which will be obviously harder, as the progression is great, and even if you are used to programming in languages such as C, it will still be a great challenge to complete the whole game. The game has an optional difficulty evaluation, which makes it great, as it takes into account optimisation and using lower instructions to make the code tidier and smaller. Beside the gameplay, the artistic style, the setting, and the ambience music are quite melancholic and great as Little Inferno, its previous game.
  • Negatives
About the negatives, there is nothing remarkable, besides that some levels are not possible to be completed perfectly with the optimisation and set of instructions size, which personally for me in some levels gets unnecessary, even if it gives a bigger challenge.
Conclusion
Human Resource Machine is a fantastic game; it teaches the basics of the programming languages and ends up giving you pretty difficult challenges that will leave you struggling. It's a perfect option for programmers and non-programmers in an entertaining game with great ambientation by the hands of Tomorrow Incorporation. The game is a 8.25/10.

Short Game Description
Access Denied: Escape is a puzzle game where we will need to hack data vaults, making use of gadgets to advance. The puzzles are not mind-blowing but still fairly entertaining.
  • Positives
Discussing the positives, first of all, the data vaults provide a decent challenge that continues to implement new mechanics as you advance, which makes the game quite entertaining. Secondly, with the foregoing, the game is quite short but consistent in the short time, which can be a decent game to play in a short break. Finally, the game is pretty cheap, which makes sense given how short it is.
  • Negatives
On the negative side, the game is not that innovative; most of the puzzles are quite generic, but merged altogether, it does well. Also, the story is generic and blatantly uninteresting.
Conclusion
To sum up, it's a short, entertaining puzzle game with non-innovative riddles that altogether are quite entertaining but have a boring story. The game is a 5.75/10.

Short Game Description
Good Knight is an interesting puzzle bullet hell, where you will be evading bullets through many different sections facing bosses that will bring quite challenging gameplay.
  • Positives
Discussing the positives, the game is quite simple but is quite addictive and challenging, where you will need to be precise and play near perfect most of the time in order to evade the numerous bullets directed at you. Secondly, the setting and the plot made the game even more interesting. Finally, the game has a workshop and a boss rush mode to make it even more interesting to the players seeking a challenge.
  • Negatives
On the negative side, even if the controls had only three key commands, the right click was bad. It is supposed to slow you down, but when you press it, it also makes you run in the other direction, making it quite uncomfortable. Also, even if the story looked interesting, the storytelling was lacking. In addition, the true ending was also disappointing; I expected a bit more from it and felt the time invested after completion was unnecessary.
Conclusion
To sum it up, this is a decent original indie game that is quite challenging and has more content available besides the main campaign. But the controls and the storytelling can both be  improved. The game deserves a 6.5/10.

Short Game Description
Carmageddon: Max Damage, a remake of the first game, returns after many years with an improved formula that was fairly well executed while maintaining the essence of the original.
  • Positives
Discussing the positives, first of all, the gameplay was great in most aspects; it had a variety of game modes, and the driving feeling was also great with more mechanics and an improved powerup system. Secondly, the controls were finally more familiar. Finally, the graphics were good and felt much more real.
  • Negatives
On the negative side, the game has five game modes, some of them practically with the same concept, and the long list of levels ends up being repetitive by overusing the same levels over and over with the few game modes of playing. Besides that, the races were too dependent on the points you got through the race, as the AI was extremely dumb and aggressive and prioritised attacking you instead of doing the objectives.
Conclusion
To sum up, it was a decent remake that added original content and new game modes to make it less repetitive, but it hilariously ended up being repetitive with the little amount of maps and game modes that were constantly thoroughly reused in the game. The game deserves a 6.25/10.
