The War Carapace.

A Meta-kin whose purpose in soul is to fight and protect the other Meta-kin.
At the beginning of the Meta-kins life Cycle there were three base templates.

“Matriarch Carapaces” - An ancient type of Meta-kin, ones that were immaculate in being and power, the raw attunement to mana and the world made them a dangerous beast, but they’re inherit attitudes were more towards protecting and watching over later has the race grew this dissolved into smaller “Care-carapaces” to help with the growing population.

“Proto-carapaces” - a sister species to the Matriarch class these were utility based, jack of all trades to say and still one of the most common carapaces to be birthed by the Meta-kin.

“Soldier-Carapaces” - The Soldier was strong, durable but slow. Though many would dispose of armor and weapons to gain speed they were ultimately a solid enforcer and defender of the Meta-kin species. Still quite a common carapace to this day.

As time went on, the Meta-kin adapted to the roles they needed to fulfill, certain Carapaces such as the Matriarch were lost to time and all but forgotten but in their time of weakness and grievance the species would adopt new Carapaces to their kin.

“Lord Carapace” - Only one Lord Carapace is known,the Arch-Bishop. Not much is known of this Carapace other than that.

“Worker-Carapace” - A Carapace designed to work in hard labor environments. Ultimately these Carapaces are similar to Proto-carapaces but instead specialize in farming, mining and other difficult tasks.

“Crafter-Carapace” - A Carapace that is dedicated to its trade, such as jewel making, cooking, black-smithing.

Finally a mutant carapace was born, though its origins are unknown they are rare and are seen as a sign of bad omens.

“War Carapace” - Once this Carapace filled the battlefield and armies of the Meta-kin but since the rebellion of the Kingdom has ended, they have all died out and lost their flame. In recent years there is but one within the walls of the Kingdom, “Prospero Mars” , a young student in the Academy studying Martial arts and History.
