Sniper Invasion desperately needs balancing changes. It basically comes down to a hide and seek with wallhacks when the non-invader can see you through walls in focus at all times, and can see your general direction at all times when you're far away.

Sniper invasion also has several exploits, there are spots where you can see through walls. The infinite timer exploit STILL exists after Sniper Elite 5, I have no idea how this isn't patched.

Rest of the game is a copy and paste of 5 with new levels, propaganda missions are bugged and don't even give you score. All in all, zero effort was made to improve the game at all or fix any bugs from 5.

Simply a fantastic stealth sim, with great support proven by Intravenous 1. Can't wait for mod support. If you like splinter cell, metal gear solid, etc, definitely give this a try!

I love Stalker, currently in a 125hr playthrough of a character in Stalker Gamma, I'm not going to compare this to Gamma as they are not intended to be similar at all in gameplay style, however, I had to refund the game as I simply could not play it on a 3080 above 50fps unless I used framegen which added a lot of blur and input lag. I just cannot recommend this game at the moment, as much as I want to play it myself.

Early Access Review
Runs like ♥♥♥♥, boring, bland, not really much to do. For a PvE game you'd expect more things to do other than PvP that are actually engaging. And before some fanboys come and say "ItS bEtA", the developer chose to charge $35 for this, the developer chose to charge $99 for a pay-to-win edition, while Tarkov is being ♥♥♥♥ on for it's $250 edition, gray zone tries to do something different, yet copies all the worst parts of Tarkov at the same time, and excutes it poorly. I hope to come back to this game in 4 years and see something, but at the moment, there's not much here, and definitely not worth the price.

Most of the points I would make have already been mentioned in the top 3-5 reviews on this game so I'll try to keep it short.

Simply put, it's a bland, "open world" game with massive engine limitations that fell flat on the marketing, a world that does not react to your decisions in any meaningful way, and a dialogue system that's archaic and dated, especially when comparing to titles like Cyberpunk. In my 30 hours, I've done two of the main faction quests, and some of the main story. I've heard the main story is great from people, and I'm sure it is, but that shouldn't be all that the game is for a bethesda game. Yet the loading screens, 8x8km landing zone limits, lack of vehicles, and the terribly uninteresting mission/exploration gameplay loop killed a lot of my interest in this game.

This game is one where you can finish almost everything in a single playthrough, if not then two. There are no significant consequences, the world does not evolve, and many friends who I've brought this up to, have said that they enjoyed just finishing the game and being done with it, with no intent to replay it until mods add something new.

Is this what we're supposed to expect from Bethesda now? The company behind the 1000s of hours of discoverable random cool ♥♥♥♥ in Skyrim? And frankly, I'd compare it to New Vegas, but that just feels like cheating, because this game doesn't even begin to play on the same level as NV.

TL;DR: Good story game to play once with a boring gameplay loop, lots of loading screens, and a bland world. If you treat it as a semi-linear game, you will have fun. If you treat it like a narrative sandbox, you will be let down.
