Crytek raised prices for new DLC's(it's worse in countries that do not use dolar/euro) even if these new DLC's have same or even worse content than the old ones, this is crytek new "model" of microtransactions since people still buy it, well... I got mine from a giveaway just to not recommend this one too.

If you want this DLC that much, just try to get for free or for the same price of the old DLC's in some sort of bundle.

If people still think that they need to make money, ask yourself first where this money is going, game still has a lot of Early Access bugs(desync, hit registration, reload bug, yes reload bug exists even after patch 1.12, they claimed to fix it but they actually just bandaid fix, there is just a low chance that happens now and there is so many more bugs), one of the worst things is their servers, each 1~2 months servers get worse, I just refuse to pay overpriced stuff and even more when the devs just doesn't care about quality of game but quantity of DLC's for easy money.

So, here is the lore... My friend and I wanted this DLC because of the design of it, but we were afraid after the Concubine/New DLC's price change, then I saw the price of Frau Perchta DLC and started laughing because we were correct to be afraid of Crytek pricing changes, every DLC crytek is selling now they are increasing the price with excuses to that increase, even when the game has DLC's that has almost if not more than this one for a much lower price.

Where I live is even worse, for you guys they jumped from 5~10USD DLC's to 15USD over the course of the years, I live in Brazil and here Hunt is priced at 89BRL right now without any sale, Frau Perchta DLC right now is 47BRL after the price changes from Steam, Steam gave developers the freedom to choose their price accordingly within the country currency so Crytek made this change, EVERY single DLC before Frau Perchta/The Concubine(33BRL) was 10BRL to 20BRL without sales and I can see this phenomena going worldwide, a lot of countries getting fisted just like you guys are(even if comparing USD to everything else since it's less extreme 5~10USD to 15USD right now).

This DLC is expensive as hell so is The Concubine even in USD, thats why I entered a giveaway from a streamer that I won't name it and won instead, do not buy this abomination.

I can't recommend this game for now, devs need to release more maps/monsters, there isn't much variety and game is repetitive.

Best choice I ever made dropping out Bot Ark months ago, thank you Amazon Game Studios.

Last edit before Valtan update: I gave up on this version of LA after playing/grinding for 1k+ hours, can't stand how a trillion dolar conglomerate can be that garbage against boting/bugs, bots destroyed the market, every whale out there got 1 slap in the hand for RMT SINCE LAUNCH and now they swim in gold(people with at least 1 million gold or even more are ilvl 1450+ already) and they will be like that for the rest of this game, they can buy everything they want from the market and even control what will sell or not since they can buy and resell only for higher prices, if Amazon Gaming Studios weren't so sht they AT LEAST would be banning those people who did RMT, but they won't, I was blinded thinking they could do anything better than the KR version of LA(that version already is a p2w shtfest anyways, but at least isn't swimming with bots because they have phone number verification and you have to even confirm if you still has that number, WEEKLY, if not your account get blocked), KR method probably isn't the best, but it works.

I tried to withstand with all the sht they did since release because I was hyped that I love the gameplay of this game, you can even read some of the problems we had/have in my previous edit's from this review, but Bot Ark by: Amazon killed this version of the game for me, only thing I regret now is thinking some company owned by a stupid billionaire would be good with something, good luck for any of you that are still addicted with this game just like I were.

Ok. Right now I don't recommend you even trying this version. Since Argos update in march: Amazon is garbage(to no one's surprise), I don't know how much Smilegate had a say in the middle of the shtstorm this update was, but Amazon said "We will westernize p2w from Lost Ark" and they actually did it, they made our version worse than the korean version when they had the Argos update there, congratulations Amazon, releasing Argos with this butchered T3 version of Lost Ark and without new classes, I will wait one more update and if they screw us over again I'll just quit, good luck to whoever stays here if Amazon/Smilegate continue with this. PS: I highly recommend watching Divium Furor channel too, since he doesn't white knight for Amazon/Smilegate like some people out there.

I was going to write the bible here about the cons and pros like most of people would do with their experience within the game in the past week, I'll just say the cons, but there is a video that will help you guys more than any of these steam reviews and here it is.

If you want something more personal from me, I waited this game for 5-6+ years and I'm addicted with this sht for now at least.

My review will be positive ONLY because I see more pros for ME than cons, I played MMO's for a long time already(13-16 years if I remember correctly) and they ALWAYS had something bad or scummy, just like Lost Ark, but this doesn't make this game good just because every frikkin MMO out there has stuff like this, the best advice I can give you all trying this game, if you find something fun in the game and not a shore, go for it just like I'm doing right now and have fun.

Here is my top 3 cons about this game for people that need to know some of red flags before trying games out and that video up there doesn't talk about in detail:

1. F2P friendly ONLY with 3-6 alts(this is garbage) but at least we have 2 free lvl 50 alts in the launch after getting lvl 50 with your first char. Alt's are trash and they are only useful here because it's a bandaid fix for garbage like limited raid per day/week (daily raid/chaos dg are 2 PER CHARACTER so = make alts and then they sell you power pass which is a brand new lvl 50 char so you can do these daily/weekly, but you have to pay $7-8 OR spend 600 gold and wait 8 hours for another char, 600 gold isn't a low price for a brand new launch for this game) AND we have to do all of this because they won't change this daily/weekly limit per CHARACTER to ACCOUNT, it is a snowball effect so they can sell you the problem they created years ago within the core of Lost Ark endgame.
   
   
2. Animations for storytelling, there is so LITTLE good animations with the NPC's in all the quests in this game(face, skills, scenario) and it feels bad because there is so much potential on some of these quests outside mainquests, BUT there is like 5-10% of these scenes that feels good(and this is not good if you think about how much quests this game have, I'm not talking about ONLY 1-50 mainquest). 1-50 after the first time is garbage, you won't stand doing that again(hell, even the first time you might just skip because storywise in this game isn't so good, for ME it's like 6/10 ~ 7/10)
   
   
3. The third one here will be more likely because of the #2 con. Music, sound effects and environment in this game are beautiful, a lot of them are, they give the game what it lacks sometimes: life, you feel refreshed and more immersed in it, so why is this a con? Because the lack of everything else in the majority of NPC's(I'm talking about main quests too) in this game make these songs/sound effects less enjoyable, they really need to update at least face animations for NPC's in early game and the majority of side quests.
   
   
4. BONUS CON: Lack of communication by the publisher and even when they did, it was a shtstorm like wrong info about their own patch notes before release, events and as today 02/16/22 - 02/17/22 they gave a 1~3 hour warning before closing the server(NA East and global) for 3 hours maintenance 2 hours before daily and weekly reset respectively. With surprise of no one, servers will come back up after 3 hours, welcome to AGS non-New World players.
