First we have to BUY the game, sure, its REALLY cheap and a lot of people even got it for free; since you get an extra copy of the game when you buy it... BUT HOW DARE THEY!

Then they have the AUDACITY to give us the option to buy the a character with real money?! Sure, most people will be getting him by weaving him; since it only takes a few weeks of playing to get enough Spools, and sure, they give us constant free updates you can enjoy on ALL characters and have even said that they only made him buyable with real money so they could afford to keep give us fantastic free content.... But the nerve!

Seriously though; look at all the reviews complaining about the ability to buy a character with real money and you'll find a pattern.

One, they write like they are 12.
Or two, they have comments disabled beacuse they know how faulty their whine is; and if anyone was able to point it out to them, they would have no way of responding.

ANYWAYS.

This game is fantastic. One thing I have to point out though; if you don't like having to start over, over and over again...
/JUST. TURN. ON. ENDLESS!/
Sure, you might feel its not as "challenging" and doesn't "feel as rewarding"
Thats good and all but... the game is fantastic, so whats the point in just dying over and over when you could be playing and enjoying the content for -3 cool points? The games suppose to be fun, let it be fun rather than wallow in selfpity that you might not be the best at video games. The game gives you the option to play like a casual, take it rather than ragequit.

I was gifted the orginal Don't Starve when it first came out, so I ended up getting DST for free.
When I first played it after being gifted it, I ended up quiting it quite quick (which I did feel bad about) beacuse I really dislike perma death / hardcore modes. So I didn't touch the game for literally years.

Recently I gave it a try again, but with Don't Starve Together and... now I just can't stop playing it!
The fact I can toggle Endless mode on and play freely, without being afraid of losing days progress makes it so fantastic. Playing it with friends does of course make it even more fun, if you can find anyone who is willing to play a lot with you; but if you don't have any friends to play it with, just give Webber a try and you can just befriend an army of spiders!

Another thing, I'm not a huge fan of mods for games. But with Don't Starve Together, the mods are working so smoothly, together with an extremly easy interface. I've literally never played a game where its this easy to join moded servers.

Honestly, I give this game a 9/10.

Hopefully 11/10, if Twitch drops loop again or I can find some other way to obtain the Ringmaster Tophat...
