Essentially a standalone game in DLC form, and a damn good one at that. The last scene with a certain vampire character will give you chills as you look back on everything you've done in this masterpiece.

While The Culling is a fantastically addictive and immersive game, I would like to add a word of warning.

The game is very unoptimized for anything but high end Nvidia cards. I'm currently using a 750ti and struggling to keep a solid 60 frames on all low settings. From what I've played, however, know that the game is exactly what you're considering buying it for: Hunger Games the Game. It's an absolute blast that will make you feel like a true survivor and is very gripping and addicting.

If you have the hardware, pick this up now. If not, know that you'll be at a disadvantage as some traps are hard to see on extremely low settings. Keep in mind this will be a review in progress, as the game is EA. I'm sure the developers will continue to make optimization improvements with time.

I've played this game when I was just 14 years old and it was one of the best experiences I've had with gaming. Me and my friend were rabid over this game even before we understood how deep the writing was. It made everything interesting in some way, it helped you learn things. This game teaches you things, useful things. I'm not certain if another game could possibly have more of an impact on me than this one. A true masterpiece.

Flowey is pretty spooky.

For those of you turned off by Fallout 3s wonky writing, there is still hope for you in this title.
