No wait a minute hold on I think the negative reviews have a point actually. This league is ass. 40 hours into the campaign and I still haven't made it past act 3. No item drops, bosses with way too much health, areas are WAY too large and the player has barely any movement speed. PoE2 is in early access but this game needs improvements on a fundamental level.

A shame because the actual gameplay is objectively better than PoE1

The most incredible game with the most wretched performance imaginable.
My computer is entirely built around a RTX 4070 and REQUIRES frame generation to maintain a framerate over 70 (at 1080p). It's 2025, this should not be acceptable.
(additional negative points for denuvo in a largely online game)

I still have no idea what i'm doing but I like what this game aims to do (i think)

Just a tad bit excessive with it's "cosmetic features" but it's genuinely a very fun RPG when you're playing as anything but bandit. A bit rough in some areas (unequipping gear in certain menus where you'd expect to be unequipping gear being annoying for example) but the gameplay itself is very polished for an unfinished game.

Hosts all of the issues you could expect from any 6v6 shooter, a single bad player can and will ruin the entire experience and on top of that if you lose a game or two you will be forced into a match against easy bots and get punished for leaving.
While just about every character is fun to actually play, I cannot get over how many times I get killed by players who never even once touched me with their crosshair. It feels like most characters in the game do not need to actually aim and as a support main it's just infuriating (nobody protects their healers no matter how well positioned they are)

I like this game, it's fun, it's like a better JS&B but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the GUI needs some work I know it's stylized but function over form

Cool game, would be a lot cooler if most of the bosses weren't total bs on any difficulty over normal. Normal difficulty feels like baby mode then you move onto hard and it's nigh impossible with everything happening on screen at all times.

Aside from god awful attack patterns and visual noise the game features tons of different items that hardly impact the run. Debuff and status effect items would be cool but they don't stack or even synergize with anything, it's just a tiny bit of flat damage that doesn't leave a dent compared to your weakest normal attack. Then there are other items that are something along the lines of "fires a slow moving projectile every 5 seconds that does 200 damage" I'm already dealing ~300 damage every second it feels like such a pointless item.
