Pretty good low key game. Sometimes the driving from one place to another can be perhaps a little more tedious than intended...but it's definitely a game you can relax and play at your own pace.

I wanted to like this. It's a great concept. But it's just too unrealistically RNG. Constant sequences of disasters and no real feel of progression. I've seen the strategy pages, and I'm sure with some epic micromanaging I could pull this off...but why would I? It's not fun.

Been playing this game for years - and it's still the best! If there is a 'labor of love' game out there, this one is sure it!

They're willing to profit off of subscriber mistakes and pretend there's no way they can help. The game is decent, but support it at your own risk.

This is a great game with all of the things that make you want to keep playing for just another hour...and then another...and then another. Currently they are working out a few issues that are coming with the massive interest in the game - long queue times, quest targets mobbed by players, that sort of thing. However, these are all temporary issues; they are adding more and more servers, offering players the opportunity to switch servers, and rebalancing spawn times as we go. Look for this game to get better and better as time goes by.

Update - still playing, still enjoying the game. Still watching the developer try to squash bugs. If I had any feedback for the developer, it would be to be far more transparent about two things: What bugs you are aware of and the priority you have assigned them, AND exactly why you ban a player (to squash conspiracy theories).

Awesome game...except when the developer releases updates that break the game in obvious ways...ways that they could not possibly have missed with reasonable play testing. Such as...breaking the ability for buildings to reduce fervor, resulting in a massive uptick in unmanageable fervor sweeping through your empire that you didn't even know you needed to watch for.

Bugs patched, it's a great game. So for now, still recommended. I just hope the devs are a bit more thorough with their testing in the future.

When you allow yourself to spend more than even a few moments considering whether or not you need to kill your own children to make sure the right one is the heir...you know you're hooked

So far I've had quite a time playing this game. I haven't encountered any game breaking bugs; about the worst thing I've seen yet is a couple of different spots where otherwise innocuous choices lead to a scenario that prevents you from finishing a companion's story arc (which I won't describe here fully to avoid spoilers - but the information is out there for those who want to find out).

But other than that? This is exactly the sort of game I was looking for...for a VERY long time. Ever since I played the Baldur's Gate series I wanted to play another RPG game that also included some type of ruler-style play...building a castle, a town, whatever, that your characters would be in charge of. This game has that as a core mechanic, and it's so far in excess of my meager hopes that it amazes me. This is the sort of game that I'm still thinking about hours after I stopped playing; still planning my next move, my next destination, the next step I'll take in the development of my kingdom.

Yes, there's still some kinks to be worked out, but if you are a fan of fantasy RPG this is already well worth your money and if you're like me and you want to role play building and ruling your own kingdom then I can only wonder why you haven't bought it already :)

It might not be the prettiest game out there, but it's deep. If you love survival games - and construction/crafting games - and Zombie games..then don't miss this gem :)

Crashed on a distant and faintly hostile planet. Started gathering supplies. Built a house. Turned loose the chickens that survived - maybe they can find their own food.

Attacked by a crazy squirrel. Built a table and butchered the squirrel; built a stove and cooked it. Had squirrel for dinner. The chickens are still doing fine.

Some crazy tribal goons came by for a 'visit'. Threw spears at us and tried to hit us with clubs. Now we have some cool new tribal clothes to wear. The chicken population is growing rapidly.

Got a visit from a nearby settlement. They brought some much needed supplies that we could trade for. On the down side, they don't want any chickens and there are so many now we're having trouble feeding them.

Woke up today and found some kind of crazy toxic particles falling from the sky. Everyone got sick and a few of us died before we figured out what to do. On the positive side, we don't have a chicken population problem any more...
