Honestly? This game is a hidden gem. It has it's flaws, to be sure; which are mainly just slightly outdated mechanics, but it's overall really enjoyable to play. The story and "chose your own adventure" aspects are charming, but even if they wear off it's still really fun to use outlandish tactics and try to break the game by becoming really overpowered. If there are two things this game does not have a shortage of, it's variety in playstyles and quantity of secrets. It took me many attempts to finally beat impossible mode, but in the end I found a way to do it with murder, greed, and matrix dodging (take captain molly, philipe and harry and do everything necessary to buy the epic rogue boots,) but along the way, I was still finding unique treasures and events that I hadn't been able to trigger before. There's something about this game that's just so lovable in an old school way, but without the old school bugs or graphics.

It's kinda like mario galaxy, but better in almost every way, and with an incredible soundtrack. If there is any love in your heart for the platformer genre, you need this game. It's extremely casual, but that's all it needs to be in my opinion. It's just silly and fun (unless, of course, you play death wish mode.) I would highly recommend this game.

This game is amazing. The story is sweet, the mechanics are good, and most importantly it's hilarious! The amount of references people still laugh at is just amazing. As soon as you can get around the 8-bit (I think) graphics, Undertale is great overall.
