Naaah, I'm done.

========
The good:
========

Destruction is king of this game, and very addicting. The ability to shape the maps during play is awesome, it makes no match really feel the same.
Movement. Feels really good, with many ways to traverse the map, leading to great options for angles, on enemies as well as the objectives.
Variety. There's many weapons, gadgets and Specializations per class, making each class feel reasonably flexible within their own weight/size/speed.

=======
The Bad:
=======
Gunplay feels good about half the time, the recoil is entirely patterndriven, with a preset pattern for each gun.
Too many people play this like it's CoD, only going for kills rather than supporting or going for the objectives.
Postgame screen is too long, I don't need my team or the opposing teams being glazed for so long.

=======
The Ugly:
=======
The new 30sec respawn timer is godawful.
When respawning, you might respawn not facing the direction of the objective, and together with the game also spending the first three seconds not showing the HUD icon for the objective in the right direction, rather in the middle of the screen, always leading to the entire team scrambling for the first few seconds.
Many of the spawns are also really annoying and random, you might end up spawning too far away from an objective to even get within eyesight before the match ends, or god forbid, right infront of an enemy team.
Unreliable soundqueue for when the enemy teams are capping, instead plastering fluff like announcers talking, teamwipe horn and other ♥♥♥♥, somehow overriding this very important soundqueue. Too many times has the game been unclear about when the points are being capped, leading to great frustration.
This game runs horribly; even on reasonably powerful hardware, on the lowest settings with DLSS/FSR turned on.
Being killed while seemingly having entered cover happens a lot.
Matchmaking is hit-and-miss. More often than not, one team dominates instead of having a good/balanced/challenging time. I find myself cursing orange/purple for being bad, and not being able to stop purple/orange from taking an unopposed W, more than cursing myself or my teammates.

The Finals can be really fun, but it has just a million small things that will wear you out over time.
And it's got a toxic draw on you, where it's really fun when everything works, and it feels like a massive waste of time when it doesn't, instead of being actually entertaining. I'd liken it to LoL or DOTA 2 in that regard, where it feels like I'm willingly ingesting ratpoison repeatedly, and for some reason always end up wanting seconds.
