Easily the most beautiful game I've ever played. Naoe's story is great as is her actress, and the overall plot is compelling. The juxtaposition between Yasuke and Naoe's gameplay is a lot of fun too.

Really is like those old white dwarf battle reports, simple but with nice depth. Would recommend.

Sadly buggy, flawed in ways that its predecessor wasn't, and lacking many essential features that have stood the test of time in other total war games. The poorly written code dating back all the way to Empire Total War really makes this game struggle, and they released it at £50 despite the fact it shouldn't even be out of Beta yet, given they'll be spending another year fixing issues - which have already been fixed day 1 with mods.

Overpriced, the single player story is never updated despite all the multiplayer content.

Most multiplayer content cannot be accesses without micro transactions or playing thousands of hours of boring races.

The spectrum of emotions I felt throughout this wonderful story was breath taking, and I have never felt such indecision over what choice to make in a game before in my life.

I can't recomend this game enough, I spent 40 hours playing it over a three day period and was thorougly fascinated every moment of it. It is everything an old school RPG should be. The combat system is versatile and challenging, the control system is fluid, the maps are beautiful, the story is mind-blowing in its depth, and the RPG elements are just wonderful to fiddle with.

11/10 Would kickstart again.
