Tons of fun when in early access, and the updates for the full release look fantastic! Shoutout to the devs for carrying the game through and working so hard.

A fully worthy successor to the original trilogy. This game is fun and tense

Game includes tons of the same features you'd expect in vanilla stalker, as well as clearly taking inspiration from a lot of the modding community and other games like Metro. The QoL is better than ever, while the game does not sacrifice anything that made the game fun in the first place.

A few caveats since people are talking about them:
- AI is better in a lot of ways, but still has some funkiness. The AI fights aggressively and smart, which is a fantastic experience, but at times is a bit superhuman in detecting the player. Sneaking is feasible, but only out in the zone and not while sneaking through enemy compounds.
- Enemies ARE bullet spongy, IF you aren't hitting weakpoints. Headshots on most human enemies are instantly lethal.
- There are bugs, but I've seen none that are impactful on gameplay, let alone game breaking.
- Visuals are good, if you take some time to tune settings. If you're on older hardware, set your settings to low but then bump up a few things like texture and LOD quality. Turn off motion blur unless you want to put it on high quality.

Best feeling city builder out there, with tons of fun for people with a variety of playstyles.

I once saw a giant man singlehandedly fight off hordes of the worst dregs, monsters, and wretches you've ever seen, all to save his three teammates.

Laid back yet detailed colony sim that will have you losing hours at a time while your little families build their incredibly detailed and organic looking towns.

Also it's fully possible to make your down a commune with a powerhouse economy, so extra points for that.

Bought it and literally couldn't get past the menu without the game locking up my PC, apparently due to recent updates which ruined performance for PC players.

I was hoping to get some of that OG Halo nostalgia but I guess xbox can't be bothered to give a damn about PC players.

Great if you want to relive a bit of the magic L4D and L4D2 had with some extra features. Not great if you're expecting wildly innovative gameplay or every feature that has become industry standard in the past few years.

This game is, at its bones, still L4D. The only reason it doesn't seem as good as the first two is because of nostalgia factor and the fact that its gameplay formula isn't as cutting age as it once was. If those don't matter to you, then you'll love this game as much as the originals.

I've been following this game for quite some time now, and I can say that I'm super proud of its growth. Initially, I felt this game was promising a lot with no easy path to deliver it, but I can say that I was proven wrong.

This is a great game to relax and vibe with. This game is not punishing or particularly challenging, but it does feel good to spend hours just collecting resources and playing the game how you want it. The map is stunning and immense, and you can easily spend a good chunk of time hiking up to scenic vistas or wandering through the woods and hunting game.

It is pretty content light at the moment, but that is not at all surprising for an Early Access game. This game provides simple yet surprisingly deep and engaging systems for you to interact with, so I heartily believe that this game will do nothing but get better as the developers add content.
