The matchmaking is currently a big bag of wet arse, the skill system is a bit of a downgrade from payday 2 and the customisation and weapon system seem a bit limited right now (Probably gonna change as the game moves through its life with more added) HOWEVER it still plays like a payday game and the actual game-play loop is as good and well made as it has always been, playing the 8 heists in your own way be it sneaking about or ensuring thousands of police families do not get to see daddy come home is exactly as fun as it should be and that makes it worth it, especially with the inevitability of more context down the line~
