A friend of mine gifted me this game a few years ago. I've played once and never thought much of it. I've now randomly downloaded the game again and I'm so glad I did, because it was just what I was looking for: a 4X without the boring diplomacy stuff. You'll wage war from the very first turn until the last. I've only played the base game without any DLCs and I'm have a lot of fun with it. Give it a try if you are the type of person that wakes up in the morning and chooses violence as your first option.

EDIT: Even if the base game is pretty good, I highly recommend the download of a couple of mods to enhance your experience: Gladius+ for better UI and Too Many Voices for some cool unit voiceover. Both can be downloaded via the Steam Workshop

I don't normally say this, but Hollow Knight deserves it. This game is an absolute masterpiece. It's perfect in every sense. The soundwork, the songs, the artstyle, the gameplay, the map design, the characters, the story. Everything in this gem is outstandly well made. I deeply encourage everyone to give it a try.

New World is a competent game that will keep you entertained for a good while, even if the PvE combat is a bit easy and unchallenging

I'll be blunt, Phoenix Point does not have the same cinematographic appeal and polish that XCOM 2 have. Cons aside, Phoenix Point is a pretty good game, with deep gameplay mechanics and a great storyline, totally worth its full price

I'm not gonna lie to you, Endless Dungeon does lack the charm of Dungeon of the Endless. However, this is an extremely well made game by its own right, so don't let those mixed reviews get to you. I'm not sure if I would pay the full price for it, but it totally worth to get it on a sale. Give a try and it might keep you entertained for a good while

I'm gonna be honest, I don't even remember buying this game. However, for my surprise, it was quite a fun and enjoyable experience. The gameplay reminded me of the old Zelda titles (like the NES and SNES titles). Give it a try if are into this kind of game

I've been playing by myself for the past couple of days and I gotta say that Icarus is a pretty fun survival game. With gameplay mechanics reminiscent of Ark, Rust and even Valheim, you'll have your hands full in no time. However, different from Ark and Rust (and more akin to Valheim), there is no Player vs Player combat. The focus here is to battle and explore the wilderness of an (not so much) alien planet. And because of that, you'll find a robust, challenging and well developed PvE.

The art design of this game tends towards a very realistic representation of the world. This, in turn, puts a lot of pressure on your hardware. My GTX 1080 is struggling to get 60 fps so bear in mind that you'll need a beefy PC to run this.

The sound design is satisfactorily well made and will keep you entertained throughout the game. However, I would not mind some improvements to the songs. Considering all the time you pass gathering resources and stuff, having good music when you complete these tasks is always welcome. Also, the narrator voice actor is top notch, good work on that.

While playing, I've noticed a few points that deserve more attention from the devs, specially when talking about the building mechanics. Building in this game is somewhat clunky and difficult, not giving the player much space in terms of creativity and satisfaction. I believe the devs could get some insights when looking towards Rust and Valheim and how they approach the building aspects of their games.

All in all, I'm having a great time on Icarus and strongly recommend it if you are into this kind of game, be it with friends or by yourself.

Great art and sound designs, good level design, fun gameplay and nice story all for a pretty low price tag. Seriously, Wayfinder is true gem of Solo / Coop action RPG genre.
