My only beef with the pc version. There is no "Mun" launch pad like in the console version. Other than that. It's excellent.

Mechwarrior fans complain about how MWO plays. They make this. Complain about this and mod it to play like MWO online. Companion piece to MWO by the way if anyone was wondering. Yes, play it if you like big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ robots, lasers and kick ass sci-fi heavy metal music.

If you like the original directors cut. Get this one. It will give you a reason to play this again.

I am having a blast playing this so far. I really enjoy the first film and the Roughneck Chronicles. So, when Slitherine announced they were making a SST game in RTS style. I was stoked. I am already a fan of the Close Combat series and if you have ever played those. This game is a little bit more less strategic but you will find out there is some strategy involved. This game also moves faster than any CC game I ever played. There is a good amount of different bugs to kill. Each with their own strengths and weaknesses and you get a nice variety of troopers to play with. From the Classic rifle troopers you see in the first film to Mechanized Bipedals (I haven't gotten that far yet. Not sure what they are called).
My only real beef with this game is that none of the troopers have names or their own personal stats. Like, How many battles fought or how many bugs killed. If you are a fan of the films or the series that came out in the late 90s. You won't hate this.

Yeah, I do recommend this game. Is it worth the full price? Hell yeah it is. If you like survival style games without the hassle of dealing with other humans and are able to pause the game at a moments notice for a quick break. Youll like this.
The ww2 setting only adds to the fun. There are alot of fun little mechanics such as cooking and chopping firewood and maintaining your bunker defenses. Atfirst this can seem like alot to learn. Its not. Once you get that tutorial done you should be good to go. Now, one of the most difficult things I have found is planting mines but once you figure it out its a breeze.
This game still has some work ahead of it. There are some things that need a little polishing but for what it is. This is currently my favorite game to play.

p.s. Tip for new players. Save your empty cans and collect every watch you find. Take those 2 items and combine them with 20 Bullets of any type. Dont use the whole bullet stack it will consume them all. That's your recipe for homemade mines.

I like this game alot. It doesn't require alot of effort to play and it is only one of two phone games I own because it is exactly the same as the PC version plus all you do click except for the beginning which is the most fun. Every time I start a new game it's never the same as the last.

After the dumpster fire that was Dead Rising 4 and the weirdness that Dead Rising 3 had. I consider the first game and Off the Record to be the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ canon. Though Chuck has better movement and can navigate through zombies better. Frank has and will always be the star of the show. This game is almost identical in everyway DR2 is interms of story and the setting. There is a new area to explore the cutscenes are obviously different because Frank and they made Chuck a psychopath. They brought back the camera feature which I find to be fun.

Alot of people do not like playing this game with a keyboard. Well, I am probably one of the four people who do. Infact at certain times I prefer it especially at button mashing sequences. Anywhoo, Getting this game at full price isn't a terrible idea. But, getting it while on sale is a even better deal. Which happens often.

A nice addition to a already kick ass game. I haven't even bothered with the campaign stuff yet. They added skirmishes to the campaign mode as well. So far I have used Finland in conquest. Compared to Germany and the USSR these guys are a bunch of ragtag scavengers and they are bad ass....The tech tree is very unique. You can have a KV-1 matched up with your Finnish stug and panzer 4. They even have the French renaults. Slow, But good armor and a decent gun. One thing I noticed about the Finnish tech tree is the amount of Artillery. Quite a large selection compared to the other 2 nations. If you enjoy what the game already offers. Go ahead and get this. If you own every other part of the game including the standard CTA with addons. You can save a little bit money and purchase the "complete edition". Just check the store page and you will see what I mean.
If you love this as much as I do and I know you crazy MOW fans are out there. Don't sleep on this.

Still a great game after all of these years. Lots of people still play online. This version still gets updates (I swear it looks more visually appealing these days.) I even recently installed my xbox 360 copy on console and even though it hasn't been updated since "Cold Stream" there are people playing online after all of these years. I knew I made the right choice when I found this game at a mom and pop gameshop back in 2010.
