I've always loved the monster hunter formula, and this game makes hunts cleaner, convenient, snappy, satisfying and just plain fun.

I know there are performance issues for many, and while I did experience a bit of it myself (bad frames in certain hunts on day 1, and black polygons filling the screen a rare 4 or 5 times), they have been dwarfed entirely by how much I have enjoyed playing this game.

Progression feels great, the event quests have already started which has me excited for future content, and overall I look forward to all the title updates to come.
Capcom continues to deliver with great games, consumer friendly practices and a solid product.

Easy contender for GOTY, if it doesnt stay my pick, which it very well has a chance of doing.

Honestly one of the few games I deeply respect from monetisation and content.
They've done everything right, gameplay, gunplay, customisation, sound design, music and graphically brilliant.
One of my favourite games of 2024, and will likely stay up there in one of my all times

Ok but seriously I buy this game every year, and despite any complaints I might have, I cannot deny the amount that I like this game. Its fun to jump in and chill out in, its fun to play endgame content with a group of friends, its fun to truly feel like a power fantasy.
Its not a game id recommend to new players, but I wouldnt stop someone that has an idea of what theyre getting into.
This story has been in my life for years now, and there's more to come, so I will continue to hold my eyes up.

Absolutely Brilliant.
If you have *any* talent with rhythm and love 2000s era storytelling and vibes, this game was made for you too.
Fantastic action and what i thought was hilarious fun the whole way through, where the only time you're given to breathe is when you stop playing it.
The comedy is surprisingly on point, where one text log I just happened to read (i wanted to break the habit of skipping them) ended up being a recurring joke that killed me in it's 3rd appearance.
I played on hard, so there was a fight or two that took me a few attempts and made me a smidge frustrated, but overall i have no complaints with the final product.

(please add a boss rush and/or a way to play just the boss fight instead of a whole level and it'll be perfect)

What begins as an old school Zelda-Like quickly becomes one of the most charming and enjoyable experiences I've come across in a while. You learn more as you play more, and after a while you'll catch yourself finding a pen and paper.
Would highly recommend for anyone that likes puzzles at all, and maybe just wants a modern old school game.

My lord, as someone who loves the new dooms, music in general, music that comes in layers (think dmc tracks during fights), just, man. I can not stop banging my head while i play, and the amount of effort the dev's have put into the game to make it *feel* rewarding to hit on beat, it just meshes so well and makes for a great action/rhythm game.
While at first i thought the price was a bit steep, i'm very glad i bought this game, but keep in mind, if your hand/eye coordination or rhythm isnt great, you wont be getting any top scores soon, but its still a blast to just run demons down.
Havent finished it yet, but I'd give it a solid 8/10, with a bonus that the unknown is hot somehow, dont ask why, she just is.

Jesus, I haven't even finished the campaign, and I've already sat with hours of nothing but a dumb smile on my face and heavy metal running through my head. This games pace of action, and flow of combat are miles ahead of any other fps I've played in recent years. A truely refined style and a fun use of time.

If you like shooters, and just an unending onslaught of thinking (higher difficulties) and / or untamed carnage (from combat mastery) emenating from you, pick this game up.

This game is hell, in the best way possible

A small learning curve, but so much content to sink into, get lost in, and cut down.
MHW is definately worth a try
