If you don't care about the GFL story or the characters, don't play this game. Everything outside of your basic grind gameplay and story is absurd whale bait. The gacha rates are abusive and terrible. The game doesn't give you enough cores to have multiple well rounded teams without whaling yet. Some characters are completely useless without dupes. The dupes for some characters completely break the game and serve to make "PvP" and Gunsmoke Frontline absurd whale bait. The only redeeming quality of PvP is that you can join quit instead of putting yourself through that boring torture, unlike Gunsmoke Frontline. The banners are also being reorganized, so the global server has all of the downsides of being months behind the CN server with none of the upsides. Conveniently the priority seems to be putting desirable character banners back to back, but I'm sure that's just a coincidence.

You know, this game can be pretty fun sometimes. But you know what really helps? Being able to afford the vehicles I've researched, so that I can actually play them. For air, the cost for purchasing and crewing a high tier jet is downright insulting. Be ready to pay at minimum 1 million silver lions per vehicle for the most fun part of the game. This isn't even mentioning the cost of spading a vehicle cutting into what little silver lions you do make making it take even longer.

But don't worry, while ignoring the calls for decompression of the battle ratings, and complaints of horrible economy (that literally caused a review bombing last time,) they have now added an auction house! What's better than grinding your life away? Grinding your life away for the privilege of being able to make people compete for the privilege of buying whatever terrible event vehicle or cosmetic you grinded for 6 months ago.

EDF6 is fun, but after having my code revoked for a pricing error (lol) I'll put out my raw opinion on this game.

After skipping over several EDF games on steam despite having a love for co-op horde games and a desire to try it out, this "demo" has taught me EDF is definitely NOT a $60 game. Modern EDF is a game that has not lost it's development principles from when it was a bargain bin game series: Reuse, repurpose, create as little as possible for maximum profit. Only, you might notice EDF games release for, and stay at $60 (except very rare $45-$50 sales) for years, EVEN AFTER the next game is released. I haven't seen such greed outside of Call of Duty before. These games shouldn't be more than $40 full price, especially not with the sheer amount of DLC they pump out like they're a sim-lite or something.

By the way, fun fact: EDF Insect Armageddon from 2011 has better lighting than this game. Just thought that was interesting.

Raw, unfiltered kino. I have never been so angry at something I enjoyed so much.

Despite being some of the most fun you could have in a modern PVE environment, the 1.0 update creates myriad bugs, frame performance inconsistencies, broken A,I. and more. Not to mention the use of A.I. generated assets. This game simply is not worth the new price tag of $50, and after a year of progress for this update, I don't expect it to get better any time soon.

I have no words for this game. Boring combat, boring music, less content than Payday 2 had on launch when they were a much smaller company. Oh, and I haven't been able to play the game since it launched! Incredible always online work, guys.

Monster Hunter for schizophrenics. Highly recommended if your government issued adderall and xanax prescriptions together still can't make your addict brain capable of playing REAL Monster Hunter games like Monster Hunter Dos.

Horribly managed mess of a "combat simulator" that will be remembered 10 years from now for it's broken promises, mishandling of funds, and betrayal of both it's third-party partners and players. Corruption, petty pride and incompetence have now led to a literal quarter, 25%, 4/16 total flyable third-party modules being effectively discontinued while still being sold on the market, with no mention that you are buying a deprecated, slowly decaying product that they cannot guarantee support for. All whilst the CEO pockets the money from these sales.

I've put up with a lot in DCS. I've put a lot into DCS. I refuse to continue business with a group so fundamentally flawed. Enjoy your war birds, Nick. Hopefully for you, you'll find a new grift to fund them with before you're done running this one into the ground.
