After beating Doom the Dark ages I realise what we lost. The Dark ages is a good game but Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal were something special we may never get again.

Very creative! a Free demo of this quality gets a 10/10! Lots of secrets and fantastic dialogue with unique characters. This game is a walking sim and you should expect to get all the enjoyment from the fantastic visuals and writing.

I played the game in full on Xbox game pass (50 hours to do all content in New Game) and had to purchase a full copy for myself. This game is spectacular and is in my top 10 games of all time. Everything about this game was a fantastic even if post act 2 the game can get easy if you decide to grind out any of the optional side content. I will be beating it on NG+ (you can transfer Xbox game pass saves which is nice).

You need to go in blind. Experience the music, story, environments, and combat/builds for yourself.
This game shows that there are still creative excellent new ideas out there and that we don't need to go back to old IPs.
With that said whether you buy the game or not always remember....tomorrow comes.

Fantastic coop game. Wish gold was shared as its just a pain to micro manage especially on a controller locally.
UI tends to bug out ALOT on controller locking out options forcing you to spam buttons until something works.

Wish they would have spent more time adding DLCs to this game over for the king 2. Its an 8/10 but with more QOL and content/progression it could be a 10/10 indie classic.

Fantastic coop game. Its very cheesy but it works very well for a playthrough with my younger sibling. I think the developers understand the audience very well and have balanced as best they can to capture the interests of all people who will play this game together. They have a piece of the market carved out for themselves and are killing it. its a 9/10 and was a great excuse to bond with family/friend which is obviously their goal. good job.

Early Access Review
Summary: Its simply an amazing coop game with spectacular visuals and performance. Well worth the price.

Performance:
4 player couch coop was a blast on the big TV. The game looks incredible on the 4k OLED and runs amazing on my 4060 laptop at 120fps steady with 4 players.

General opinions:
I wish the main playable characters could look more monster/truly animal like. Everything is a little too humanoid for my liking but its not a deal breaker just a preference. I'd like to see some more ways for players to fit into their own roles via the upgrades. It feels a bit too much like "everyone goes damage and we win" although to be fair we are very early on and we just found a mushroom armour set that increases healing allowing one of us to fill out a more "support" type role or tank. There seems to be many pieces of equipment and weapons that drastically change playstyles and I'd just like the upgrades during the run to line up more with the armour sets in terms of strategy and diversity in the future. The bow is a clear winner in terms of DPS with all upgrades related to hit counts (you'll understand when you play the game) and there seems to be no other offensive strategy in all honesty. The weapon balance seems pretty good all around so far with exception of the cannon. The cannon requires a much higher skill to use than other weapons but does not feel strong at all. The bow, hammer, and spear can just wack people while the cannon needs to reload, count their ammo to dodge, and has to invert there controls for dodging for nothing in return in terms of damage or agility (maybe this changes with upgrades or different cannons?).

All round its well worth the price and the framework and gameplay loop is great. They kinda just need to keep adding more of what they have and this will end up being a classic from Klei.

If you loved Nuclear throne or enter the Gungeon this is a MUST BUY.
My fav rogue-like ever is Roboquest and this game matches its fast paced fun difficulty, so I recommend this for fans of that game too.

The music is great and the combat is GREATER! Its alot of fun and for 6 dollars on sale? This game is literally A STEAL. Update:42 hour play time.

The game was fun for the $38 dollars I got it for on green man gaming. The guns are very fun and the combat feels great while exploring the game but the story falls flat for me personally. It took me 17.5 hours to get the "true ending".

More on the story:
Its a mix of "its all in the characters head! but maybe its not! you decide!". I wish they would have drawn a couple conclusions to the story but almost everything is left up to you to decide but you dont really have enough evidence to draw any real conclusions on any theory and kinda just leaves you with a tier list of likely stories. If it were one or two STRONG ways the story could go It would feel better but there is kind of like 4? Its not very clear and if you play it all the way through you may understand what I mean its hard to explain without spoiling anything as its worth enjoying for yourself but the ending just does not do it for me personally.
