Prepare for I am genuinely tweaking over this game rn, R6 hate yap session incoming
I cant express my disappointment at the state of this game. This game is such a fun concept and I want to play it but Ubisoft is just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ at running this game.
The cheater problem has been awful for years and they addressed their major cheater crackdown plans at the Invitational just for that to be a massive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ waste of time because the cheater problem some how got worse in year 9. It feels like one out of every 3 games has a closet waller at the minimum and even when the cheater is blatant asf they just straight up don't get banned or Ubisoft waits 3 months for the last week of the season too give me my 2 RR back.
The balancing recently is absolutely awful seeing as how Ubisoft decided to add the 3 most powerful defenders in the game back to back to back. They barely nerfed two and have plans to lightly nerf the others but we still have to wait seasons for these other nerfs. Then add some alright attackers, 2 of which were ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ off of launch. Defense already has an underlying advantage but now they have so many broken characters with acogs and crazy kits making some of them one man armies.
This is probably my most minor complaint but one of the biggest reasons I dont wanna play the game. The playerbase of this game is GENUINELY THE WORST PLAYERBASE OUT OF ANY GAME EVER. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cant tolerate any of my team mates in any game I play that isn't with a 5 stack. I know some people will just be like, "Ermm then just get a 5 stack then." I shouldnt have to only play a game with a complete 5 stack. I feel like no other game requires your entire team to not be randoms. Even a singular random and your gameplay will just be awful. Whether its my team picking all sheild ops, running in and dying after playing the game normally in a mid to high rank lobby or its my team mates being in a 3 stack and throwing the entire game, tking me, and even killing me when holding a frag and stepping in it to force me to get banned when we are literally about to win, the playerbase is INTOLERABLE. Everytime I play I get at least one team mate who does awful and then says the stupidest ♥♥♥♥ ever in voice chat, and then starts calling me or my friends awful at the game when their kd is usually .7 and they got the game less than a month ago. Also speaking of team mates who got the game less then a month ago. How come in high plat lobbies and above am I getting team mates that have only 15 ranked games ever played and are on controller. Never mind the thought process of him playing ranked, why didnt he just pick causal. I guess to be fair Ubisoft ruined casual and standard as well as the ranked system.
Now this is my favorite part of why this game sucks. UBISOFT IS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LAZY AS ♥♥♥♥. Ubisoft went from adding 2 operators a season, balance changes, a map rework, touch up, or adding a new map entirely all while making the game look good. Now they add a few small balance changes and this year we are getting 2 operators over the course of THE WHOLE YEAR. Ubisoft, we don't need a recruit rework, Ubisoft, why don't you add a new operator and rework blackbeard in the same season like with the complete tachanka rework. UBISOFT WHAT HAPPENED TO SIEGE HAVING 100 OPERATORS. Also like I said early Ubisoft doesn't do ♥♥♥♥ to fix their anticheat.
Thats most of the reasons why this game is ♥♥♥♥. I love the game but holy ♥♥♥♥ it just feels like Ubisoft is sitting around, jerking off while making as much money as they can off of console players and the Jynxzi hype. There are definitely more reasons as to why this game is just bad right now but they are either too small for me to write here or I am forgetting them.
I have ADHD so I am not rereading this rant I just wrote so I hope you enjoyed it I guess. I hope we can figure out a way to make our voices heard and make Ubisoft fix this fallen game.
