Brilliant game. The Tech Trees are fun, and each faction has a modified tech tree which adds tons of replayablility to the game. The art style's nice and minimalist, and blends Fantasy with Sci-Fi in a unique way, so most of the factions and creatures seem familiar, but distinct. The combat does get a bit tiresome after a while, but adds an element of strategy to the game that games like Civilisation don't have. The music is beautiful, and the factions each have a unique story. On top of that, you can create your own faction by choosing a base faction, and then mixing attributes and naming your faction. This can result into some underwhelming or even overpowered combinations, but can be turned off, and adds even more replayability to the game.

I honestly can't reccommend this enough, the only reason I haven't played it more is real life commitments.

A great open world RPG that you could spend hours just exploring.

Difficulty: I found the difficulty was easy compared with the other two games (Especially the second). Herbs aren't as important since you replenish potions and bombs by waiting instead of crafting new ones which already makes it easier. You can also eat food now which gives you a Vitality regen, which wouldn't be bad but this has no cool down and can be eaten in combat so you can usually protect yourself and roll away whilst your vitality regenerates in the off chance you need more vitality (Which you won't since there's skills that increase it, and that give you more when your vitality hits 0).
Because of these I preferred Witcher 2's combat. It was much harder, and sometimes frustrating, but it felt more skill based than Witcher 3's.
Story: Great story, I've put 70 hours into the game and haven't finished half of the side quests. I'd recommend anyone thinking of playing this game to play the other 2 first in order to get the full experience, since choices carry over, and Witcher 2 is referenced throughout the main story.
Overall 9/10 for me. It would be 10/10 if Normal Difficulty was harder.

A great, quite short game that feels like a good continuation from the first game. The controls and mechanics all feels very familiar, especially when playing Corvo who's abilities haven't changed from the first game. Playing his daughter however makes the game feel very different, since her abilities make for a vastly different experince to playing Corvo. Familiar levels have to be navigated differently, adding a good sense of replayability.

Basically if you enjoyed the first you'll enjoy this, if not its not for you.

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada's a great Warhammer game, but not that much of a great Space RTS. Its very micro-managment and stat based, and manages to keep the feel of the tabletop game despite it being played with a mouse and keyboard. Battles are small, and usually have between 2 and 5 ships a side in a game but this actually works given the micromanagability of it; any more ships and doing the manouvres the game expects you to use would be impossible.

Space RTS wise though its not great. As I said before, battles are small. Really small, to the point your ships take up a few dots on an otherwise mostly empty map. Battles are engaging, but the combat looks visually samey. A shot form one ship will impact another ship the same way no matter where it came from. Then there's the micro management which I enjoy, but can make the game feel too complicated for a PC game. This is a game where micro management is a must (Even in the campaign), unlike other games where its an option to be used to get an upper hand on your opponent. Because of this you will lose most of your early battles, and you will rage quit far more than you'll be proud of.

Should you buy this game? Only if you enjoy stat based games with a space skin. If your looking for a fun RTS buy a game like Warhammer: Dawn of War instead since you'll enjoy it far more.

Early Access Review
I played it when it was originally released and became fairly excited about it. Then it was buggy, half the things didn't work and it was horribly unbalanced. Its still the same now so whatever you do don't buy it.

The game itself is big since the single player map is truly massive, but then you come to the multiplayer and it's mods. The multiplayer battles often have 200 people per team fighting a big siege or a battle and with it's mods such as the Napoleonic wars mod the game becomes good. The animations arn't amazing and the games graphics can be shoddy at times but the scale of the battles makes up for this.
