Great game! Perfect length of campaign, just enough to still enjoy all the mechanics till the very end. The story is fun too.

This game to date seems like the best Assassins creed game. The plot is nothing special, but the setting of the Caribbean, the mechanics of improving your own ship, shooting dozens of cannons, taking cargo and ships from others - all feel amazing. Not to mention superb voiceover mixing English with Spanish and Portuguese whenever you encounter ships or population that speaks those languages.

Incredible game: authors manage to keep the game very atmospheric at all times, be it a relaxing cruise through the oceanic depths or an action horror scene with palpable emotion of fear in the air.

The gameplay and plot keep me engaged and craving for more despite having little time to play.

The game also runs fairly good on Steam Deck, keeping 30fps @ low settings most of the time.

Amazing experience.

It is indeed more of an interactive drama/thriller move with alternative endings and some variations in the middle. The atmosphere is one of the best I've experienced in years; the retro-futuristic world feels truly alive, beautiful, and miserable. The characters' motivations and behaviors appeared incredibly believable too, which added to the immersion.

I loved the fact that it is a short game. The total of 6 hours allowed me to appreciate every moment without getting bored, and there was plenty of variety in tools and gameplay moments in that time. I would totally buy a separate story set in the same world from this studio.

Performance was good on both a Steam Deck and a PC with a 7800X3D + RTX4090. I totally enjoyed the game on both device, although the Steam Deck requires all settings to be set on low and XeSS or FSR on balanced (I was surprised how well it looked, tbh).

Totally recommend to anyone who's into retro-futurism and detective stories.

Great story, nice puzzles & exploration, lackluster combat & climbing

The story is truly great for a game. Despite overall high predictability direction-wise, it still keeps you on your toes, dialogues are engaging and character are very believable.

There is decent balance of action, puzzles, dialogue, and exploration. I was never tired of a single thing.

The only negative for me: the game mechanics are quite basic. Shooting and stealth are not enjoyable, AI is dead stupid, climbing is not responsive / clumsy.

The mechanic I did enjoy to its fullest is puzzles, all of them were simple but fun. Overall exploration coming in close second with amazing views popping on the screen every few minutes.

Loved this adventure, definitely worth its price despite dated animations and mechanics.

I've played the original trilogy quite some time ago and didn't hold my hopes too high for this new installment. But it turned out a mesmerizing experience: the story just consumed me and I enjoyed it to its fullest + enemy variety was just enough with lots of options to craft your own style in battle.

Definitely check this one out if you like adventure games!

Played ~200hrs of TWW2 and just couldn't resist to take a look at what CA has to offer with the third installment in the series. At launch the game was quite rough, but half a year later performance has been improved greatly and one can truly focus on enjoying the game.

The recent Immortal Empires content drop brought so much to the game! I LOVE the map and all the diverse options available: it's the ultimate fantasy strategy game now.
1. One can play as almost any race available in Warhammer universe: dwars, all kings of humans, dark and high elves, lizardmen, scaven (rat folks), undead of multiple sorts, demons, beastmen, etc.
2. The battles got even more interesting with the rework of siege battles and introduction of new battle modes.

Lots of things still require work: minor settlement sieges can get daunting, entire Immortal Empires map is in dire need of rebalancing, but it all pales compared to how great it is to play Total War Warhammer III.

Thank you to developers for the incredible game and to you stranger - can't recommend enough!

Overall: strong action adventure with RPG elements, not too heavy on the "openworldness", unique setting and visual style make the game look amazing.

I find the mechanics of the game weirdly enjoyable, hunting robots feels new and exciting even 10 hours in, crafting system is quite easy but provides all the necessary tools, the variety of enemies keeps it fresh.

The story is not out of this world, but it's engaging and emotional, plus some plot twists make the whole experience more entertaining and just a tidbit less predictable.

Early Access Review
So far so good! I honesty love this game:
- Combat is the best part of the game! Ships feel super responsive, enemies become just a bit smarter, and the gunplay itself is even more polished. The game always has something new for you there, especially if you consider tons of combat field options including good old open space, planet surface, military bases, space cities, mining operations, and many ther.
- Story is engaging, and new players should not be worried about the keep to play the original Everspace as the game sets the stage pretty well and tells a new story. Although is does throw in quite a few smaller events and dialogue bits referring the first installment.
- Exploration is mesmerizing with dozens of systems and countless events. That may be an issue sometimes as the lively world led me to forget about the main mission time after time making me re-read everything that happened before.
- RPG element has been significantly expanded with lots of loadout options, decent crafting, and character progression "tree".

+ it is obsious that Rockfish Games did a massive job optimizing and polishing the game for launch, so you should be fine running Everspace 2 on a mid-tier PC.

Anyone who is into space shooters / RPG should definitely play the game.

Bought game on a sale a few years ago because I was hungry for Fantasy strategy games, turned it on, barely got it to run on my laptop and couldn't play despite the excitement. Fast forward a year later, got a new device to run the game, 20 hours in, I'm buying the original WH game for races diversity, 20 more hours and I got 5 more DLCs.

This game keeps me pumped all the time, the battles are thrilling with every faction having a bunch of army compositions and playstyles. As I have played almost 70 hours I feel I have still just scratched the surface and there is so much more to learn and play.
Can't recommend more.

Edit: 80 hours more and the game still has tons of content and tactics to explore and try out. Online battles are even better than the campaign! I've been devastated 8 battles out of 10 but the experience is extremely satisfying :)

Edit: ah, this game! I've enjoyed it for 176+ hours already and I don't see and end to the variety of experiences awaiting me. The multiplayer battles just don't get old, multiplayer campaigns make the game truly challenging and rewarding and all the new Legendary Lords and roster upgrades keep adding up to the value. Hands down an 11 out of 10 hellfire rocket batteries purchase and I'm incredibly happy I've got to play the game.
