Game is fun. Artstyle grows on you compared to civ 5's which was noticably cleaner. Games can be super quick or super long. Only real issue with this is that this itteration of the game makes playing tall really difficult, to the point where it's usually not even viable outside of self imposed challenge runs. This is mostly a consequence of disctrict improvements and population requirements to unlock those. Not that the district buildings are necessarily a bad mechanic, but it's side effects feel quite limiting. Wish there were a way to mitigate that.

The expansions for the game are also quite good. The first two in particular were absolutely fantastic. I do have issues with the New Frontier Pass (NFP), in that it's content dribble has made the game feel inaccessible. It feels like that sort of monetization scheme is out of place with what civ has historically done and represented as a full strategy game, and as one of the few games that still had expansion packs that were worthy of calling themselves expansions.
