Pretty neat and short I don't know what everyone is going on about.

It's funny, touching and jam packed with all sorts of insanity. Top shelf material but has a few weird decisions and lack of options. Like keybinds being separate for each save file or the lack of separate audio/sound volume adjustments.

Also should be marked as Early Access since the game is not finished. Current packaging is just confusing to a lot of people.

It's good! There's some neat characters and writing and the combat has a lot of options and choices for how you want to play it. It focuses heavily on targeting enemy weaknesses, debuffs and ailments, though I found a lot of the stuff became almost irrelevant after recruiting a certain character Runi, ESP Fire is insane and trivializes almost all combat. I'll try again at some later point on hard and see how it plays out. The combat also technically has a lot of decisions to be made for how you spend mana and ability cooldowns since they don't refresh between fights, but that also became less relevant as I went on. By the end I barely cared and just blasted everything.
The dungeons (stages) are alright, I got used to the grid based movement on a 2D plane quick. There's not much to say about them, you do some basic navigation, press some switches and beat up some lads. There's a lot of different monster designs and it's fun to see what sort of weirdo pops up next.

The story struggles with pacing a bit, I feel like the group became a ride-or-die posse strangely fast, but it's not like they don't face hardships and struggles together. I don't know, I just had a weird vibe at times while playing. There's a decent amount of dialog and set up for beats but simultaneously it feels like it's going at a breakneck speed from scene to scene. Maybe I'll have a better grasp on it after ruminating for a bit and doing a second playthrough, seems like I missed a bunch of stuff as well.
By the way Kiyotaka is a great example of how to do a "gamer nerd" kinda character well. Idk why she's so good in a fight but I like her character.

I can't be arsed to type more. I like the game, the beginning feels a bit overwhelming with a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥ being thrown at you but otherwise it's a pretty nice and straightforward RPG with some good characters.

It's quite funny! I somehow skipped 2 and 3 but this is like 1 with more stuff and hijinks which is all it needs to be. Also Liam and Zoe who are my favs in general. Maybe that'll change after I play 2 and 3 properly.

All the character designs are wonderful and it gives me a nice lens of con and fandom culture through exaggerated silliness. I love all these silly goobers (even Doug and Nico, who I initially wasn't big on, the detective bits especially are great and Doug is so gullible it makes for some hilarious ♥♥♥♥)

This bit here used to complain about the random feeling stat shifts but since then I've found the manual in game which explained the choices and while I still get confused by them sometimes I actually think some ambiguity is good. If you wanna put on your big nerd pants and minmax you can do that later if you've paid any attention to ♥♥♥♥♥.

And this bit here used to say that the comic thing is undercooked but I just saw the garfield strip and nevermind it's perfect

Excellent. I like trying to read and figure out how the patterns actually look like, the music is fantastic and there's a lot of it.
The story is bare bones and doesn't really do much of anything with the premise of the setting. I think I would have just preferred to see the cast goofing about but idk. It's at least nice to have little breather between tracks. The minigames and boss fights (which are basically just more minigames) are a bit of fun, the burger one is my fav. Just the concept of some sort of immortal lich flipping burgers is hilarious to me.

hyper fast projectile focused fighting game. I like my hands so I don't play it much but it's sick af

Cool platformer with unorthodox movement. You might get the impression that it's one of those games like Getting Over It or Jump King where you have little to none air control and have to avoid precarious falls but it's actually a checkpointed and secret filled precision-ish platformer where you mostly do one section at a time. You have a lot of control over the character and there's a bunch of different techniques and environmental mechanics to use and master, once you get the basics down you'll be moving around using the bat like it's nothing.

Great 3D platformer with varied and powerful movement.
