A worthy successor to Limbo and Inside. The puzzles tickle your thinky parts in the best ways.

This almost makes me wish I got a PS4 back then so I could've experienced the game when it came out, and again on Steam.

It's that good.

Perhaps the best rogue-like I've ever played. No other game in the genre has made me care about the story of each individual character this much before. Oh, and the tight gameplay doesn't hurt too much either. Hades is worth investing your time into.

Also, when I said rogue-like, I really meant dating sim, because that's how this game feels sometimes. You come for the combat but you stay for increasing relationship meters and gift giving. You'll love it, sometimes against your will, and it's great.

TL;DR - PLAY HADES. FALL IN LOVE WITH HADES.

This is my most played game on Steam, and it has held up for years after my initial purchase. Borderlands is still the pinnacle of shooting and looting. Nothing comes close to its blend of action, replayability, and HUMOR.

10/10 meat bicycles.

I absolutely loved the first game, and the sequel delivers in all the same ways. They kept the spirit and feel of the first game while expanding on the great humor, tough challenges, and of course, chicken fighting.

10/10 would suplex again

Please play this game. If you love Metroidvanias, thematic game experiences, or lucha libre, then you'll dig this game. Soundtrack is amazing, combat system is simple yet refined and also meshes very well with the game's flavor.

Give this a try and be the luchador you always dreamed you could be.

This game delivers on so many levels. It's a big step up from the first game, retains the GREAT atmosphere and badass soundtrack, while upping the RPG elements, revealing much more in terms of story and game universe, while still staying true to its hack 'n slash action roots.

I highly recommend this to anyone who loves a good immersive experience and cutting hordes of enemies to bits. The game does have some lengthy puzzle sections that may bore you if that isn't your thing, but it doesn't take away from the overall awesomeness.

For steampunk fans and stealth game fans, this is the game for you. The atmosphere is gorgeous, the lore of the game is succinctly packed and paced, and your choices in one mission actually affect the later ones to some degree.

I enjoy that you can play the game much like Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It's either an intricate stealth game or a brutal and fast-paced action game, depending on your preference.

The DLC is also worth playing through because it gives a parallel story and adds depth to the main game instead of needlessly extending the plot with lacking episodic structure.
