Get some friends and play it. but at a certain point it becomes a grind and if you dont wanna grind it gets boring real quick.

Multipart some bad some good then some bad again

At 5hrs i have not been able to get past my second mission either in the campaign or in the games sandbox career mode. I have 1billion hours in MWO pgi other mechwarrior game and im no slouch there. but the skills do not transfer to this game and everything just feels bad. like the movement is janky and ai too good unless it is on your side.

Update at 24 hrs it is a fun game once you get going but it still feels a bit off to me cant really place it. if you like a challenge in the battletech setting this is a good buy. but be ready for the pain train if you are not using any mods.

Update at 50sh hours-I do not understand how you supposed to do higher difficulty mission. The friendly AI is too stupid to survive and the waves of tanks and the vtols not found in the lore make it near unplayable. no point in upgrading equipment b/c the ai just gets it's ass beat and losses the several million$ ancient good stuff. melee does not work for me at all even if it was viable. DO NO PLAY BY YOURSELF, GET SOME FRIENDS EVEN IF THEY HAVE NEVER PLAYED BEFORE THEIR ROCK LEVEL INTELLIGENCE IS BETTER THAN THE AI.

Really fun if you have still have ptsd from playing borderlands 2 way too much. it like that but in space with some cool laser guns, pretty cool characters, and story.

the side missions get kinda tedious having you back track a lot. but that just might be this kind of game though as i do remember in the borderlands 2 doing that a lot.

I recommend playing as Wilhelm b/c at certain point with good rolls for rare laser weapons, sprinting, and big cannon when shields down you feel really strong if you wanna have a power fantasy.

everyone is sooo sweaty and probably should go touch grass. DO NOT PLAY BY YOURSELF, or if you have ear damage like myself it turns into running simulator.

pretty ♥♥♥♥♥'n lets you essentially make the colony manager/story teller/ isometric game you wanna play with all the mod support.

downside is if you run out of colony ideas it might get stale.

Fun but grindy. and i wish you could move just a bit faster

Play for single player.
if you got old like i did or coming from xbox 360 (cause you are here for halo 3 dont lie to me) i would stay clear multiplayer. unless you player shooters on pc a lot. i cant place it but something is off about it. and the longer i play the less i like it.

Fun game that my pap bought me this game way back when before episode 2 came out. Age of empires clone maybe but its fun and has nostalgic value to me.

pretty fun, good fun with friends. It is like the game Rust but with less asshats.

Would recommend. But i have stability issues. For instance about six months ago if i remember correctly there was an update now i get either really bad memory leaks or the game crashes after 15mins. If you can get yours to run regularly you will have a pretty good time.
