Heartbreak. Can't even play it anymore because of this DLC that absolutely tanked an otherwise near-flawless game. Gearbox be damned, and I hope take two doesn't get any more takes because while everyone from the artists to the excellent composer(s) cooked, the new developers absolutely did NOT set the table, and ain't NOBODY eating anymore.

New maps are cool. New skins are cool. New music is legit some of the best video game music there is, period, or music for any multimedia for that matter.

Everything else is bad. Read other reviews to find the litany of programming, developmental and marketing mistakes attatched to the DLC and it's affiliated update. Things from "How did they manage to change something so good into something so bad" to "That is literally mechanics tied to frame rate, that is the ACTUAL most rookie mistake in the book" to "Why do these new items even exist? Who playtested any of this?!" to "i guess we doing reviving now" to "Why are the prices fluctuated so much on launch, and WHY is this still being marketed on XBox? Send it back, it DOESNT WORK."

So yeah, to say the new DLC messed up the base game is an understatement. Actual content changes are mediocre from a technical standpoint and make the game seem more stale than fresh when it comes to new items and monsters, things like new logbook entries are broken like the Lamp still saying it's new and the "new" and unnecessary hidden realms not giving their own logbooks. But of course the real problem comes from the mistakes.

Don't buy this DLC. If you bought it and are unsure if you want to keep it, refund it. My friends and I took a break before this released, and honestly, if I could, I'd go back in time to convince them to play it more BEFORE this update came out, because you never truly know what you got until it's gone. Even if the mistakes and everything get fixed, I will NEVER remove of my negative review and I encourage everyone else to keep theirs the same, because its one of the few tiny ways we can make a terrible foe pay for their ineptitude.
