Played 1000h+ on console, the game is still fun on pc and i could see myself put a 1000 hours in on here too.

Nothing else like it really, the big battles, well integrated combined arms combat, big maps.
Closest comparison would be battlefield but its nowhere close to the same experience as planetside, there is just something special about it and its an experience that everyone should try atleast once

The only good thing to come to the game since its release, and its excslusive to the Japaneese launcher... Shame on you Gaijin

Actually pretty decent.
Sure it had a rought start but it got kinda fixed especialy the performance issues, my rtx 2060 is able to play odyssey stuff on max settings with no issue, stable 1080p 75fps with v sync and the gpu running at around 80%.
It can drop to around 60 when stuff is loading or on some planetary outposts but it runs suprisingly well.

The gameplay can get boring fast but thats the same with classic elite, i think the sole fact of being able to walk around my ships is extremely cool and immersive, just wish ship interiors were there.

On-foot combat still kinda sucks with the ai not being the smartest but its a fun addition and i'm glad its there (maybe thargoid ground combat will be better if they even decide to add it)

Atmospheric planets look so pretty and exploration has gotten a lot more profitable and fun with it.

Odyssey often goes on sale so its better to wait for that but i dont think i would mind paying the full price.
Lots of fun to be had, defo reccomend!
