Pretty darn fun to be thinking with portals while engaged in combat.

Lots of crazy ability combos. We love playing all random and just having fun dying in stupid ways we didn't expect.

Fun with friends.

6 hours in. Looking good so far! I get the thrill of dying and wanting to run back in and try again because I felt like I learned something. I'm still stuck on the first 'real boss' Margit. But I'm confident I can do it eventually.

This is very unlike previous games that gave very little feeling of 'I'm getting better, even if I didn't succeed this time'. DS2:SoF just made me loose hope after failing at so many 'simple' things.

The controller scheme is pretty weird though. I might have to try on Kb&M.

Overall, I loved my 6 hours of streaming this game to my audiance.

Pros:
Fun story, it made me cry a couple times.
Strange twist on ability combos.
Mix of real-time & strategic action.
Interesting aesthetic.
Beautiful music.
Revolutionary messages.

Cons:
The ability builder could definitely use an updated interface, as navigating it is clunky and time consuming.
Do NOT like the system of losing access to abilities for multiple fights as the penalty for taking too much damage.
Some of the challenges don't seem to register success properly.

My only problem with this game is the camera.

Fun to play with friend once I got my mouse issue sorted.

Has a lot of the Sims feel I miss.

Very fun, and clearly more depth to be unlocked. Looking forward to it. I'm very glad that they have accessibility options to disable the fishing/crafting/cooking minigames, as those add nothing to my enjoyment but I feel held back if I don't do them.

Absolutely love this game! Can't wait to see more get added. Even my early complaints turned out to be motivators to 'get gud' and use the other tools the game offers. It does still need work, and they know that. That's what Early Access is all about.
