Dota 2 is a fun game, albeit a frustrating one. It looks easy enough, and people who come from similar games expecting to dominate their opponent easily will have a hard time.

But, if you get past the first obstacle and start learning the various strategies and get into the flow of item buying, how the game progresses from laning stage to lategame and you learn what heroes to pick and which not to best counter the opposition you can become a very good players as long as you invest the time.

Its a 10/10 game for me, the only downside is that you will probably experience getting flamed by someone if you do badly, but you can just report them and they will usually get muted.
