Clunky animations, but satisfying enough. Uh.... buy the DLC? Yeah.

Story is pretty.... eh, but if you just like these kinds of stealth games, it's good. Gameplay is fun and satisfying enough.

And you look really good whilst doing it. It kinda feels like 3rd person Japanese Dishonored... pft

Fantastic music and atmosphere. The game is definitely not for everyone in that it's fairly challenging, and I could see the artstyle maybe hurting some peoples' eyes.

I find the combat very simple and satisfying. Use a controller, for god's sake. And uh.... fun bosses! Yeah.

I just wish the game was longer, really. Give me a sequel plz.

Very charming game. It also looks very pretty. I really want a sequel or another game set in the same universe.

Collecting the collectables in this game is actually fun and rewarding. A rare treat.

Bosses are entertaining. Story is good enough. I like the way the story is told.

A little expensive maybe, (not if you know the right places), but a cool little experience nonetheless. Very short, but entertaining. It looks pretty and unique. I quite liked the atmospheric sounds, and the environment. The music was good as well.

If you like the base game, I'd recommend the DLC. It also adds a twist to the story.

Good times, man. You gotta get the Wii version, for sure. Those were the times.

The characters are, in my opinion, the best part of the game, or maybe I should say the voice acting.
They're stupid as all hell, but they're very much self-aware, and therefore makes it fun.

The typing to kill is also an interesting mechanic I've never seen before, but personally for me, it gets old quick. It's fun the first 2 to 3 levels, and then it just gets tedious/tiresome. Perhaps if you're a true Keyboard Warrior, you'll get more enjoyment out of it. But I prefer the House of the Dead version, old school style.

I say wait for sale, but if you're really into these types of games, then ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ go for it.

Surprisingly fun. The gameplay is pretty good - you just gotta find the right tools for you.

I personally prefer to use a controller, as with games like these it just feels the most natural to me. But PC controls are actually, after further testing *cough*, surprisingly strong standing on their own.

The story - narration is top notch, but may not be for all.

The soundtrack is amazing, and is some of the best I've heard since Undertale.

It definitely surprised me, and I can't wait for more games from these developers.

It's hard to say, honestly. If you're a hardcore fan of the series like I am, then just maybe. Because the game doesn't feel finished. And to tell you the truth, the DLC is only worth it if on discount.

The game starts so great, with such promising potential, similar to Mafia 2, but falls short 3-4 hours later. It fools you into beliveing it'll continue like the former game. The main problem of the game isn't the glitches, the bugs or even the poor optimization, but the "story".

The cutscenes in this game are phenomenal - the voice acting, lip syncing, amazing! But as said, after the first 4 hours or so, it all doesn't matter. The whole campaign feels like a bunch of side quests! Only to get to the parts where essential cutscenes are involved. Of course, it does have its moments, but that's hardly excusable.

To tell you the truth, I only picked up this game because I defied the reviews. I didn't pre-order it, I waited for the reviews, but when I read them... and heard the game wasn't terrible, but just... "meh", I wanted to see for myself. It turned out they were right. If you somehow could look past all the "grind", so to speak, to get to the good bits, then go buy it. Or at least wait for a heavy discount. There are also references to the 2nd game, especially concerning Joe Barbaro...

In any case, it's up to you with the information you've been given. I don't blame you at all, if you decide not to buy it, even if you were a big fan of the previous titles. It's such a shame...
