Dawntrail is a fairly average story expansion of Final Fantasy XIV. A pretty weak first half is only slightly improved by an indulgent romp through a whole lot of Final Fantasy IX references and call backs. Dawntrail has a much improved rewards structure over Endwalker and Viper/Pictomancer are fairly decent jobs if not a bit overtuned. I've yet to play the first part of the post patch MSQ but its sounding like an improvement.

The reaction too Wuk Lamat is pretty embarrassing. She's not great but but isn't worth all of this energy.

A very relaxing game and fun with friends. The stuff on the horizon looks very promising.

An interesting "alternative" to the original Final Fantasy VII. Worth a play if you've played the original game. Not sure how much I could really recommend this to someone who doesn't have a passing knowledge of the OG games key events.

Most Innovative game-play of 2022

To say im surprised with how much im enjoying this game would be an understatement. This very well might be my second favourite MMO of all time, its certainly the highest production value MMO I've ever put serious time into. A Realm Reborn was great and Heavensward is leagues better, I'm very excited for the rest of the expansions. Fantastic game\

With how poorly Halo Infinite has launched/been supported I've realised just how well MCC was supported since it made its way to PC. It almost seems like a miracle just how well this game functions given 343s history but I suppose a third party studio did most of the work here too.

I even managed to achieve 700/700 achievements so that's pretty cool!

I hope Valve continues to make games like this. Its just fun to play games set in their worlds. This and The Lab are just so much fun.

Witcher 2 is a really REALLY great game. There are parts to it which outshine Witcher 1 and Witcher 3. The combat though is a downgrade from Witcher 1 and the game doesn't have that low budget charm the first does.

Though still, Witcher 2 is well worth playing especially if playing in chronological order like I am currently. CDPR was still as ambitious as ever with this game.
