Half-Life: Alyx has to be one of the best games I have ever played this year right. Half-Life: Alyx is the VR system seller for me. I was one of those people where I was very skeptical about buying a VR headset just to play this game. Half-Life: Alyx is my very first VR experience and it really blew me away! The very first chapter you look at the view and interacting with different items and picking up a marker just to draw on the window was amazing and you can saying I spent about the first 20-30 minutes in the game just messing around and interacting with objects and grabbing bottles and just throwing them and breaking them.

As the player progresses in the story, you meet new enemies, get new items, and you get to upgrade your weapons to make things easier for you. Exploring in Half-Life: Alyx kinda does rewards you with an item that is called Resin. The more you collect the more options you have to choose to upgrade your weapons. Depending on what difficulty you play on the enemies aren't really hard. Yes, some enemies have their moments such as head crabs but you get used to seeing them and they aren't really terrifying like the first time you see head crabs but in VR. Valve did a really good job with player progression and also they made sure the atmosphere of Half-Life: Alyx felt right for this game which they nailed it!

For the story (NO SPOILER), this game takes play between Half-Life and Half-Life 2! I felt like this game really opens many things for the Half-Life franchise.

I am very excited with whatever Valve releases and hopefully many more innovation from them will come. The reason why I say that is because I feel like Valve has done the impossible and something new this year. VR is an experience, and to be able to play a full single player game and has a rich story is amazing. Every detail and almost every object in this game can be interacted. I had my fun playing this game and especially since it's my very first VR game. For people who are still going to buy a VR soon. PLAY THIS GAME! Trust me, this game is amazing and I feel like every person should experience Half-Life: Alyx.

Half-Life: Alyx is a master piece for me. New experience and many innovation. Very good game!
