Warning: Talking about your colony in a public place may get you a free ride to the police station. Just another day on the Rim.

Don't buy this. The Pig was nerfed into the ground. She was one of my best killers, now? She is genuinely one of the worst killers in the game. I'm not even kidding.
Before, survivors couldn't leave the game without removing the reverse bear trap. Now, as soon as that last gen pops, they can just leave completely free of consequence.
I have often questioned the decisions the dev's have made, but this is the second time they have done something this stupid that it infuriated me. Remember that "Flashlight fix" they were so proud of initially and reverted less than a week later? This is on par with that kind of stupidity.
No wonder this DLC is being review bombed atm. The Pig is absolute garbage now.

Gaem is gud. maks me feel smrt.

In all seriousness though, it's an epic game. Well worth the price IMO. Finding ways to make your RNG card drops work well together is a great feeling. After 25 hours of play so far, I really can't think of anything negative to say about the game.
I think the price is justified and well worth.

This is probably one of the scariest games I have ever played. Peaceful and beautiful, but deadly and terrifying. This game is a whole bunch of my phobias condensed into a single title. The game has me in a constant state of anxiety, but I love the game.

I like this style of game. I enjoyed Limbo and Inside. This game is a little more difficult with some of it's puzzles (had to look up how to do two parts, answer seemed pretty obvious afterwards) but somehow feels more rewarding to complete than Limbo or Inside.
It took me 3 hours but that was time well spend. The game made me feel things >.> how gross. But nah, great game.

I've played it a little bit. It's an ok game. Ok enough to 100% just under 3k hours.

Is good. It's like Lego, in space (and on land, and in the air, and on ice) with physics.
I don't even know how long I have owned this game for, but it has been getting weekly updates for what feels like (maybe even is) years. The devs have put a lot of love into this game. I'm not a big streamer by any means, but the majority of my followers come from streaming this game.
While there isn't a clear set out goal or a large collection of missions, it's not needed. It's about doing whatever you want and building whatever you want to and experimenting with different things. Set your own goals, your own challenges.
As for learning how to play with this elaborate lego set, there are a collection of tutorials and even some basic missions to help get you started.

Good game, yes, but bad Fallout game. It truly shows how Bethesda just no longer cares about good content and making people happy, they only care about money. Want good Bethesda games? Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3. Even Fallout NV (which bethesda did not develop, Obsidian made New Vegas over the course of one year and made a better Fallout game than Bethesda ever has or could)
And now, they wanna cash in on mods more than they already have. Bethesda's games are only this successful previously because mods prolonged the games life. Take away mods, and they would lose 90% of their player base. I understand their logic in paid mods, but it is outright greed and a betrayal to the modding community, no matter how many different ways they try to package it. Bethesda's greed these days knows no bounds. If mod dev's want or would like compensation for their work, they have Patreon. There are plenty of generous people out there, But "Creation Club"? F**k off you greedy c**ts. Paid modding in the first place with Skyrim only gave 25% of the money to the mod devs. The other 75% went to Valve and Bethesda. "Supporting mod developers"? No. Bethesda is full of it. I miss the old days when they genuinely cared about their fans, and didn't see them as incomes not yet fully tapped.

And boil it down further, Bethesda just wants to cash in on other peoples work. They already get AAA price as an entry cost, plus all that DLC as well. People happily make amazing mods, giving up so much time, and the most they will do, is ask for endorsements, and maybe even set up Patreon. "Creation Club"? It is not made for mod devs to get compensated. It is purely made to attempt to satisfy Bethesda's boundles greed.

This game is fun, and I enjoy it a lot. Or at least that was the case. As this game has risen in popularity, so has the abundancy of hackers on OC and AS Servers. 7 wall hackers in under two weeks, getting one shot with a single Uzi round, even tonight, speed hackers two games back to back. I just don't understand this "Hush Hush Nay Say" culture this game has. You talk with other people, and there is always someone calling you a liar.
Sometimes buildings take a long time to render, allowing people to shoot through walls. People actively exploit these bugs, but that is not what I am talking about. There are people doing these things 10, 20, even 30 mins into the game. I only call it, if I know 100% that the target does not have even the potential for a line of sight and they hit me without missing a shot. I'm honestly not sure what the devs are doing about this. The problem is getting worse each day and it seems that the devs care more about taking your money than stopping hackers. There are MASSIVE flaws in this game that are just not getting dev attention.

Hacker rant out of the way, when there are no hackers, this is a thrilling game, everyone is a hunter being hunted by real players. Outsmarting, outpositioning, outplaying, even just psyching out a player netting you a kill or a narrow escape is a great feeling. These aren't stupid AI opponents, but clever (arguably sometimes) human beings constantly learning and adapting to the many situations and possibilies. Each players play style is shaped by their personal experiences of trial and error, and fatal mistakes. Apart from exploiting the game itself, there are no exploiting AI due to the lack thereof. One tactic may work on one person, but the next may have seen it before and knows how to counter it when you try it on them. Now you know how to counter it for when someone tries it on you. Now you can think of ways to counter that counter. It is a game about survival, evolution and of course, Chicken Dinner.

A lot of fun, but in its current state, as an Aussie player experiencing many hackers and bugs, I can't recommend it. To people who live local to servers that AS players do not go on, go ham. Fun game.

I did like this game at one point. But now? Can't recommend it. It is now full of hackers and the Hi-Rez Studios refuse to acknowledge it or do anything about it. This game also has security issues, giving other people access to your IP Address through 3rd party software. What does that mean? It means other people can DOS you mid game. Best case, you get frequent lag spikes. Worst case, you get ouright booted from the game. "EasyAntiCheat" is a joke too. The joke being, it is easy to bypass. I have experienced wall hacks, aim bots, speed and damage hacks, and even saw a "Top Play" of a Kinessa firing at a wall, without moving the cursor in the slightest, or having a single enemy on the screen, and ace our whole team. Every person in the game instantly realised how f****d in the a** this game really is.

Long story short:
If hacking and cheating is your thing, this game let's you do it without consequence.
If you want a fair game, where nobody hacks or cheats? Well... Look else where. I figure about 20% of games have aim bots, and 50% have DOS attacks. The game devs do nothing about it.
