Can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review.

One of the best games ever made. Some people complain it's too hard, if you think it's too hard it's just because you're use to games handing you everything on a step by step linear ever moving forward belt.

By it's nature, this game is meant to be moving from one disaster to another. Your amazing plan on how to deal with Co2 that you had 100 hours into the game comes back to bite you 200 hours in when you realise you really wish you hadn't vented it all out into space. Every move has a consequence, every amazing system you design will have some short coming which may not create an obvious problem today but in 100 cycles time could bring about a mass dupe extinction event.

That's how it goes, and it's fantastic. With the constant major changes and upgrades, new features and tweaks they have done in the release patch even if you were an expert with 800+ hours and numerous 2000 cycle, end game, done everything colonies, it's time to strap back in and start all over! The new world types are great, each throwing at you a unique set of challenges, some you thought would be hard are easy, some of the one you thought would be too easy can really throw some curve balls at you.

Can't recommend this game enough, I've bought copies for heaps of friends now, spread the love, buy this game, just don't expect your very first run to be the only game you play and be ready to get into some unwinnable positions and give up and start over with a fresh perspective on what to do next time!
