It's the culling. and by god did I miss the culling so much.

As a normal shooter the game is FINE.

It is just something you can pass the time with for a few hours then play something else or ignore it.

As a Battlefield game this is hands down the worst entry in the series with no exception.
The Hero system is dumb and not needed
The customization is limited despite advertising to be the most customized.
the maps are kinda pretty, but all in all, WAY too big. I spend a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of my time walking everywhere if I can't get a vehicle.
The shooting feels subpar, sometimes satisfying but subpar all around.
There's somewhere around 19 guns total, about 3-4 for each type.
There is so much cut content here it's honestly pathetic.

Nothing added from previous battlefield games, including BF5 their most recent one.
Squad revive animations have disappeared
no building
Vehicles have no real counter to them so the vehicle problem is worse than ever and worse than BF4
No classes, Heros. So you are forced to play a character you might not like just to get a gadget they have.
Even BF5 let you play as any character with any class.
The music is genuinely painful to listen to. it's a travesty.
They REMOVED Voice chat. Like they purposely didn't add it.
then they said they'll add it later MAYBE.

Straight up the launch trailer is just false advertising.

I have never been this dissapointed with a Battlefield Entry. I mean it. Even BF5 is better.

I'm not even trying to rag on it for "launch issues. lag. launch bugs. optimization."

Those things can be fixed with time.
The main "meat and potatoes" of this game is awful.

If you like shooting people and have never played a previous battlefield, this game is FINE.

But if you're a vet of the series you will not like this at all.

play it with friends only.

I finished the game with multiple deaths, a handful of do-overs, and still had a pretty great time.

However, the game is falsely marketed.

the first 2 hours of the game are all that is shown in screenshots, trailers, or anything showcasing this game.

the first 2 hours are an absolute blast and incredibly fun, I loved every single part of the beginning of this game.

however, everything after the first part of the game is an absolute nightmare and frankly just not fun.

it changes entirely what the game was shown and what you grow accustomed to.

I won't spoil anything, just be prepared you are not purchasing just what is being shown here.

this game is shockingly good, I sincerely expected a blade and sorcery copy but.. it's not. it's actually incredibly fun.

if you mordhau grip a weapon in B&S you just hold it like a prop and nothing changes other than making it worthless.

but holding the blade in LT changes it's damage type and affects different monsters more. I enjoy this game a lot and it doesn't take much to make me dislike a game but I genuinely am at a loss for words at how fun this is.

goblins need to be taller since I can't parry them very easy but other than that it's a lot of fun.

hands down best game of 2021. I 100% it entirely and do not regret putting my faith in Tim Schafer. I also want to bang Raz's mom.

Good stuff. I named a fellow player Jim, he proceeded to marry my wife. 10/10
