Excellent game, except for the constant freezes that make this 10 year old title, almost unplayable.
So many times, I've Rage Quit, because the game crashed and robbed me of all my progress...

Be careful user, you may waste a time of your life, playing a game that doesnt work...
Its fun when it does work...

Good luck getting far in it, with the crashes... As I keep playing, the crashes seem to be happening more and more often...

WAAAAY TOOOOO SHORT!
I don't remember how much I paid for this DEMO VIDEO GAME, but it's surely worth every minute of my WHOPPING 90 MINUTES OF GAMEPLAY!

Dont get me wrong, the lack of arsernal, with only 3 tools on your belt, no real "fighting" ever, no actual "riding" in the Batwing or Batmobile through Gotham thats all been reduced to a "BLACK-CUT SCREEN" literally, did not at all take away from all the STELLAR-PHOTO REALISTIC graphics!

If you wanna be FOOLED into buying a Batman Video Game, then this is for you!
If you're ready to spend anything more than... $5 for this 90 MINUTE DEMO, THEN BUY BUY BUY!

I must have wasted like $60 on this ♥♥♥♥. Un♥♥♥♥ingbelievable.

IMHO, most VR titles suck. Half Life is like the only other, "graphically intense" VR Shooter... Its sad how long I have to wait for any VR title in general...

Having said that, the physics are wack and need re-work. Often when you die or an NPC dies, it looks weird or scripted, not like with Havok like in GTA or Half Life Alyx. Most of the deaths are scripted. Often times, when an NPC dies, first he goes through the animations of Running, then getting shot, then falling... And the transitions through the animations as well as other animations in the game, aren't always smooth... Even if im running it at 60fps, it'll have weird transitions in some of the animations, especially when NPCs die...

If you really liked Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, like me, then you'll like this game simply because they let you relive the Omaha map but in VR... Albiet, it's less fun this time around in my opinion.

Omaha is shorter, you dont see any huge explosion on the barbed wire like in Allied Assault, and instead of running all the way up, they sorta, teleport you, so u dont get to actually run up urself, dodging bullets...

Idk, if they could just up back the origial Omaha Map, but make it with the new graphics and for VR, that would be awesome! Id play it over and over and over.

If they could also, make the Multiplayer, also a lot more like Allied Assault... All the same maps, that would be perfect!

Would be awesome, if we could also play Assault mode again, where we can play as Axis vs Allies in Omaha just like in Allied Assault... But Alas, this game isn't Allied Assault...

It's "Above and Beyond" with 4 different "Death Match" modes, that really are just slight varieties of Deathmatch, and not Assault or Counterstrike like battles.
And there's sadly only like 3 multiplayer maps at the current moment...

All the CPU bots that they spawn in the Multiplayer rooms, when they're empty of players (a good idea actually), are stupid as hell... They have no real intelligence...

In fact, the CPU bots in multiplayer, are stupider than the regular AI in the normal game, i swear to god... Or at least, this is how it seems.

Other than that, if u werent hoping for a VR version of Allied Assault, then this is in general a "decent" graphical experience at best, considering the fact, how dense with polygons Half Life Alyx is compared to some of the models in Above and Beyond. You can see some of the polygons on many objects, as if they werent subdivided enough for high end PCs, considering how good other games like Alyx look...
Other than that, not a very engaging plot...

The real plus of this game, is being able to PLAY A WWII GAME in VR, and have it not be complete crap. Not many are out right now, so, that alone might influence you to spend $60... Is it really worth $60?
Maybe not today. Maybe $30-40 to be honest...
It looks like they took Allied Assault, didn't upgrade any of the models, but made a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game lol.

And for this reason alone, I still believe that they can turn it around and make this really awesome...
I see a lot of potential for improvement, if they really read these reviews and make the adjustments.
