I played this for the first time now in 2025 after playing Valhalla a few months ago, and this was actually better. It's an old game that still holds up. The mechanics are quite bad at times, and tilting, but it has good fighting and story.

A cinematic masterpiece. The action and gameplay in the game is amazing, but the cutscenes are even better.

A good game for those who likes a lot of fighting with intense waves of enemies. I did not really enjoy it too much at the start, and it took time to get into, but towards the end it became more fun. I will not continue playing after the story, though.

This is definitely a game you should play if you love killing zombies and humans. Great action and story. Not a hard one to complete either, and not much longer if you are a completionist. Main story + side missions took me 37 hours and I finished the main story in ~35.

This is an amazing game to sit down and play if you love a good story. It took some time to get into it, and honestly took me months to just fall into the "fun part" of it, but once I got there it was a fun ride. Enjoyed every single bit after completing the slow part.

A good game to play with friends if you want to have a laugh and just mess around

At the beginning I was enjoying it, but it seems like the more I play, the more bugs I encounter and I also get more crashes. I have a great PC and VERY RARELY notice similar stuff on other games. I also looked them up, and they are common for all players. Due to that I will not recommend it. Just too many bugs and crashed for it to be good, honestly. If they fixed those issues, I would easily recomment and rate the game 7/10, with the bugs and crashes it's honestly a 3/10.

All bugs/errors:
-A lot of crashes. Around 8 in my first 26 hours in game. (I have a GREAT PC)
-Horses sucks to use and call, common issue in AC games.
-Hitting weakpoints sometimes does not register or they also register when I actually do not hit. At times when I should have hit though, the arrow is literally pierced through their weak spot and apparently did not hit.
-A lof of the time when moving around or into a structure it's easy to get stuck, even if the ground is flat.
-Sometimes after killing someone the camera will auto focus on something making it impossible to aim at other targets (no, I was not locked in on an enemy with the middle mouse button)
-When you choose an opponent (middle mouse button) sometimes it just completely ignores it. When aiming with the bow, it automatically points at the ground, making this feature completely useless. Rather than helping me, it just ♥♥♥♥♥ it up, especially in boss fights.
-The "Muspel Charge" ability sometimes gets stuck in very tiny ledges that a baby could walk over, which makes it lose a lot of total damage. Additionally at times it completely ignores the target even if we are locked in on them, making the ability completely miss and do 0 damage.

A lot of colors. A lot of life, and also a lot of death, I guess. I'd say the first game is better, but this was not bad either. I loved both of them. This is basically the first game with more stuff to unlock and explore.

It was fun, but I kind of felt like for the first 15+ hours it was kinda slow and boring, while the remaining 4+ hours was amazing. The DLCs was for the most part better than the main game, and honestly I could recommend skipping the main story and just play the DLCs unless if you want to go through the 15 hours or slow content.

The best ~100 hours I ever spent on a game.

Unlike some of the other games in the franchise, I could actually see myself coming back to this game. Maybe start completely over or continue with side missions although I completed all main stuff and DLCs.

The main story was great, but at times could get a little repetitive, but that was usually just for max 30 minutes at a time, but the DLC's was for the most part amazing all the way through.
