Full disclosure, I read the reviews and after seeing some say to turn off v-sync and motion blur (both settings I turn off when starting any new title anyways) to mostly resolve the stuttering issue, I have put in as many hours as a father can put into a game on his free time, and the game has run fantastically on my RTX 2060 and Ryzen 7 2700X, although only on medium and low settings, haven't bothered to try and bump them up as the game still looks fantastic. Gameplay is brutal and awesome, something that I know many people love about Dead Space, and it fits in just as well here, absolutely love this game.

The microtransactions are 100 percent avoidable, even if they are there, they are in no way the only reasonable means to obtain the items they are attached to, hell, you can even get the premium currency through outposts in the game. Besides that, the game is fantastic, runs smoothly, story is interesting, setting is immersive. A fantastic sequel to the series!

A good sequel to the amazing nazi killing adventure that was Wolfenstein: The New Order. You kill nazis, and feel good about doing it. This time with hotdogs and strawberry milkshakes.

Not too difficult, not too easy, very fun gameplay, almost a visual novel, a must play.

Game is fun, worth the money, yes it has microtransactions, but they will leave within the month, if you don't like it, don't pay for the keys, pretty simple. Devs are hard at work to fix the game, took a day to fix a server issue that would have taken other devs weeks to fix. Bravo.

You putt a ball. It goes in holes. It shatters your friendship at the bottom. 11/10 IGN.

I usually don't write reviews for games as I believe most games can speak for themselves through the majority of people's thoughts, but I decided for this one I would because of the adventure I enjoyed while playing, on to the review itself.

As a game that goes for a price tag of $20 USD its playtime is limited if you don't explore, and even with the exploration, there's a limit to what you can pull from the game, which tends to be in the 2-4 hour areas, which you may think won't be worth your time, and you'd be right if you were into games that are full of action and are for the mechanics rather than story, as most games tend to be now. However, as a story telling game, Firewatch really does shine, it takes you through a different type of story, with a more realistic end considering what you endure, without going into any details. That's where I've seen the most complaints, in the ending, but as the game's story is simply about people, the ending is rather fitting for the adventure, you get to make up for yourself what you want this game to be. You're in control, even if it feels as though you're not, it's worth the price tag, and I would happily buy this for a friend.
