Buy this game and you will enjoy this game, hands down.

Black Mesa is an amazing game. Wether or not you've played Half Life in the past, I would strongly reccomend playing Black Mesa. For someone who has never played Half Life and knows very little of the story, it's an immersive experience taking you back to when story-based video games were at their peak. Now, with multiplayer being the most popular feature of most games and story often falling to a small team of people just churning out the same old repetitive obejectives, missions and stories, Black Mesa brings us all back to a time when story and the objectives were important.

The graphics are sub-par by modern standards, but they are a very, very small price to pay for the game you're playing.

The Xen chapters have also not been released yet, but I can't wait to see them remade from the shabby levels more representative of modern videogame stories into what they should have been originally. Gloriously made in the image of the rest of the game.

Happy Room. What is a happy room? Some people might say a room full of puppies, others might say a roon with one man and a lot of explosives. Or maybe explosives aren't quite your style, how about black holes? Maybe deathrays or piranas? Or better yet, why not all 4? If that's what you're looking for, just buy happy room and enjoy.

*Serious review: This is a great casual game to enjoy when you've got a few minutes here or there. I would heavily recocmend it to anyone who enjoys creative destruction.

Tl;dr: Go ahead and buy it, it's well worth the pricetag, especially in comparison to it's closest relative: No Man's Sky.

For someone who bought No Man's Sky and enjoyed it for a few hours, this game takes the enjoyment from the beginning and amplifies it to a great degree. It's also a very satisfying game to play, visually and gameplay-wise. The art style is beautiful and the terraforming is... soothing I would say. Once you get some power and make some tethers you're good for a stressfree gaming session until the game slows down from use.

That is the biggest downside currently, after a while the game just slows down and it gets worse and worse, even on top of the line hardware.

It also doesn't have all that much to do, but it's been enjoyable for me so far and at the time of writing this I have 14 hours in the game.

If you can get past not having an end goal and enjoy the game as it is, enjoy the game as a soothing way to spend your time, then I would reccomend buying it now and enjoying the development process as it hopefully improves on what's already there. However, if you'd rather wait for a final product be my guest, but as it stands the game is very enjoyable.

So overall, I would reccomend buying the game, even in the first two hours you can get a good sense of wether or not you would enjoy it and at that point you can get a refund, but I'd bet most people would keep it, it's good as is and WILL get better.

This could be a good game, this could be a great game, arguably this could be the best game ever to exist, but then again, with the right team and the proper ethics so could Takedown: Red Sabre. That game has one of the best review sections you'll ever read, but that's where it stops. Anyway, my point is that even a game that sucky could have been good, and if this game gets better it still might be, but as it stands, it sucks.

Poor optimization, bad generation visuals, poor design of missions, poor random generation and worst of all... I haven't seen a single trulu beautiful planet to build a base on, my base resides on a sad desert planet and I haven't found anywhere better since.

If you choose to waste your money, be my guest, it could contribute to better devolpment. Though, in it's current state, this is practically an early alpha kickstarter bonus.

The best FPS of the current day. Sure, most people would call Overwatch the best, but that game is a child's game compared to Team Fortress 2.

Now, TF2 is hard to describe or talk about for me, especially to compare, so I recommend you just download it and play a few matches, learn a little bit and then you'll understand why it's so great. It's a free game, give it a shot!
