Game is a masterpiece. However:

- poor performance in key areas of the game due to a lackluster implementation of DX11;
- lack of communication from the developers regarding said issues;
- dev refuses to implement borderless fullscreen, despite everyone's request.

The treatment players have been receiving since the game's release soured me on this game. Either wait for a sale or spend your money somewhere else - if this is how we're treated I'd rather not buy anything coming from SMS anymore.

You're gonna die. Sometimes over stupid stuff, sometimes over a really hard enemy.

But you're gonna die. A lot.

And you're gonna love every second of it.

I can't stop playing this game PLEASE SEND HELP

Pros:

- A pretty straightforward story mode, that teaches you the game's basics - the rest you'll pick up as you go
- Great online environment - almost everyone is friendly and helpful
- Stunning visuals even on low-end PCs
- Lots and lots of QoL changes from the previous generations
- CONTENT. OUT. THE. WAZOO. Seriously. There's never a shortage of things to do.

Cons:

- Netcode may be a bit wonky, expect at least one disconnect every session
- Same old monster hitbox problem (though much better than the previous generations
- Content lagging way behind the console versions
- Though rare, you may get the old "monster disappearing" bug, ruining your quest

YMMV:

- Expect to grind. A LOT.
- Expect to cart. A LOT.
- The difficulty spikes from low rank to high rank and then it SKYROCKETS when you fight your first Tempered monster
- Don't get too attached to your high rank gear. Iceborne is coming soon
- There is a set of Defender gear you can purchase in the Armory that's a beefy, OP set of weapons and armor that serves to help you finish the main story in time for Iceborne's release. Some might consider it cheating, but using it is completely optional and not a requirement whatsoever

Closing thoughts:

Monster Hunter World is a great experience that will keep you entertained for a very, very long time. It's even more fun if you grab friends, but you can go solo if you please. The Iceborne expansion adds a whole lot to the game - get it if you have the chance.

- Running at 1920x1080 on High. Did fiddle around with the graphics settings, and to my surprise I haven't had a single frame drop. This game looks GORGEOUS. (For its age, of course)
- Game is running SMOOOOOOOTH. Any modern PC can run this game with no problems at all. Mine is very outdated.
- Original soundtrack! A big plus. The rearranged versions are hit or miss. I'll stick to the original.
- Japanese voices are there, but you might have to do some modding to get English subtitles with it.
- Xbox 360 controller works perfectly with no prior configuration needed. Buttons are remappable (if you like the US confirm/cancel schema, like me). Xbox button faces available ingame. From what I heard, Steam Controller won't work if you have another controller plugged in. Disconnect it and you should be good to go.
- Apparently this game uses XInput. No word on DInput. See above.
- 30 FPS lock. Sorry, 60 FPS enthusiasts. This doesn't bother me but some will hate it with a passion.
- Cutscenes cannot be skipped. This is a disappointment (exceptions are the prerendered CGIs)
- Haven't tested the boosters and I will not do so. I prefer the vanilla experience.

Played it until I reached Besaid, and I get the impression that this is indeed a great port and I am extremely satisfied. Final Fantasy X was the first RPG I ever finished and I played it to oblivion back in the day. This game brings back a lot of good memories of my teenage years.

It seems Square Enix did an excellent job on this one. Thank you very much for getting this port done right. My only complaint is the inability to skip cutscenes. Hoping for a mod later.

PC Specs:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti
4 GB RAM

PS: I am not touching FFX-2 yet.

Pros:

- Easy to master gameplay
- Cool visual
- Light as air, a toaster could probably run it
- Free to play, no pay to win.

Cons:

- UI needs some more detail, it's way too simple
- Ditto for animations
- Netcode is good, but can always improve (expect a few phantom hits)
- Not too many items to use other than your two weapons, needs more variety

(but there's always room for improvement :) )

If you're looking to play Brawlhalla, I say: why not? It's fun, it's easy and it's free.

BioShock Infinite is the third installment in the BioShock series. With a change of scenario from an underwater city to a floating one, you'll find many similarities from the previous games in this one, along with new mechanics inherited from Borderlands. This is not a bad thing, as it just adds to the gameplay.

The story is presented beautifully to the player, and progression goes smooth as you play. Not to mention the stunning graphics that will make you sigh in disbelief: Columbia is one hell of a scenery porn.

This is one of the best games I ever played, and I salute Irrational Games for this masterpiece. I cannot stress this enough: PLAY THIS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME.

This is Mass Effect, the world's number 1 space waifu simulator with some extra "imminent Space Cthulhu army invasion" subplot, because all that matters is shagging that blue girl.

Oh, and there's a lot of pew pew pew too.
