This drove a long way from the original vision of a Zombie Survival game (which isn't free yet). The gunplay is awful too. I can see why PlayerUnknown abandoned this to make a new game.

Thank God I didn't pay £50 for this. DLC released in Early Access a price hike to £50 which it isn't even nearly worth that much and now a £35 Season Pass? Seriously? How about actually working on optimising the game? Because it runs and looks like ♥♥♥♥.

It could be a great game, but it needs work.

The animations look odd, they're more robot like than human.
The game feels closed and dead which in turn makes it feel boring.
The controls (with a controller) feel heavy and uneasy to use.

I'll be keeping an eye on this game throughout it's development because I honestly think it could be good, but overall it feels like something is missing and gets boring after a short amount of play time.

Brilliant fun with friends.

The game is great honestly, I've put so much time and effort into it and it's certainly worth it. That's not even counting the many multiple console hours. The story is brilliant, I've played through it a few times and still don't get bored of it. Take into consideration what I've said because remember, whether you buy it or not is down to you in the end. Watch gameplay and make your own decision.

Ignore my hours on Steam, I used to play this a lot before it was released onto this platform.

This used to be a great game in 2008, back when the community was booming and there was thousands of add-ons. There was plenty of servers with a large number of players occupying them because of how broad and expansive this game was. Now though? Not so much. Every update that came out slowly made this game worse and worse. RTB got closed down, which rendered a lot of the great add-ons useless and boring, the game died off and now it's just a worthless library filler.

I used to love playing this game all those years ago, now I don't even have the heart to load it up and wonder why I still have it installed. Just buy Garrys Mod instead if you don't already have it, if you have Garrys Mod do not and I mean DO NOT buy this game. All you will do is complain about how ♥♥♥♥ it is and claim it to be a GMod rip off.

I decided to give the game another shot after playing it again and found they have changed a lot, they now have an extra 2 animals to hunt free each week, the premium membership is optional and not needed to have fun but I recommend it, if you activate your email you get 3 days premium for free as well as some other bonuses and if you register through a referral link you get 200 em$ some extra items such as a 5x30mm Rangefinder, a Moose Caller and a Scent Eliminator. However if you register through someone elses referral link they don't get a bonus unless you upgrade to premium. At some parts the game can feel slow but there is minigames to play and some of the scenery is astounding. If that doesn't help, get off of your butt and track something! For some of the best features in the game you require a premium membership but it's worth it!

I hope you find this helpful and convinces you to try the game or give it another shot if you have in the past. I will probably make more detailed review later once I've played some more.

Sadly I have changed my views. I understand it is in early access but it has been in Alpha for about 2 years. The devs have spent far too long adding features rather than fixing massive bugs and dealing with hackers and cheaters! What makes it even worse is the fact that when the sale came around they raised the price and knocked it back down to the original price and called it a sale!

The only game were a naked man steals your clothes at gun point!
