Not a long story, nor a fantastic challenge. But an amazing journey with rewarding puzzles and wonderful scenery. And can we just talk a minute about this sountrack?! For the price it's a delight, and if you're at all even familiar with 2d scroller adventures you're doing yourself a disservice by not getting this, sitting back, and just enjoying the dang journey of it all. Let it takes you places, and tell you a silent story. Totally recommended for streamers too. Enough action to keep people involved, enough downtime to catch up on your chat and discuss the game. Just superb.

Probably one of the only "Royale" style games I find a genuine joy to play, while still providing a challenge. While FPS games of this style can lead you to being pitted against other players who are more intensely skilled, Super Animal Royale keeps a level playing field despite skill level. I've seen final five groupings that involve someone who still looks very new, me (an intermediate on my best days), and someone who's got every bit of custom swag the game throws at you. Which brings up another portion: all of the custom bits you can use to change the look of your character are all either skill, or achievement based. In the group of battle royale style games where toxicity is rampant, the players within the game are even more friendly, and goofy. I mean, how mad and rude can you really get when you're playing a little tiger with a sundress on? Fun, fast action, good players, fair rewards system, and consistent updates to add fun items and balance gameplay further. Highly recommended.

For a maintenance and repair sim, it's unique in it's class (mostly because airplane). Gameplay is smooth for the large part. It's a genuinely pleasant game to play and I can only hope that we see more updates, content, or DLC. I've certainly seen worse games made with the Unity engine. Only a few minor gripes, and those are easily corrected with bug reports and code updates. It's a solid platform for a fun game. If anything, I wish more was able to be taken apart. Though two mechanics that does seem like it could use some updating is the experience accumulation and variety of repair and damage. So far, most of the repair tickets I've gotten are all and always "refuel". It's more akin to gas station attendant simulator. I'd prefer to see less points to apply per level, and more experience given per job and/or part removed (a-la Car Mech Sim). As it stands, you can search and take apart every hatch and component on any of the planes, and it'll still only give you a nice five points for your efforts of diag and replacement. Overall? I'm going to keep playing it.

It looks like it'd be super cool if it ever worked. Ever. If any of the fixes worked. Or Capcom would patch it to be a useable, playable game instead of a sore reminder everytime I look at or think about it. Don't waste your money.
