I only ever review something that did one thing right. Respecting the customer and treating us with effort and respect that matches our affection, our money, and our time, because while nearly every publisher, parent, and some developers consider it "Wasted, Idle, Pointless use of time" it is the escape, the community, the rush, and the satisfaction we receive from our efforts in these games that really make the day to day slog worth the trials and tribulations.

I write this review after Sony attempted to typically hypergreed the community that I feel is BLEEDING, CRYING OUT, DREAMING MORE OF, such a game like this. That is why it is so beloved even with the meta whiners, the unskilled but bursting with democratic fury, the efficient and careful, the SOS heros, and passionate developers that even admits to their faults, something most brush under the rug. It's respectable to see such a community stand together, to fight back the bile that is corporate greed. Unity by Managed Democracy is so beautiful.

Now for an actual review, this game is for the fast and the furious, the slow and the methodical, and for the fun or the serious. The co-op is comical but can force you to try better, the microtransactions are not majortransactions, you can even farm the actual premium currency for free with time and effort, and its not something dumb like 1 or 6, its 10 each super credit. Meaning you are more likely to find 10-30 a mission, do that 10 games, and you have 300. A warbond is 1000, The cosmetic shop is under 300 for most items even, and the kicker? If you buy super credits, its not something SHY of 1000, its straight to the value of a warbond for round 20$ or less (country pending). While the community managers are easily made salty (Not all, but if you are in the discord you know whom is shadow mentioned) But they took the backlash like a champ (Most of em). The weapons get tweaked a lot, which is annoying, but as long as you are not a meta-baby, and feel the desire to change things up based on the combat fronts, then the freshness of swapping loadouts keeps things delightful. Throw in the fact difficulty does not INCREASE HEALTH AND ARMOR VALUES, means if you are a good shot you can take down enemies with the liberator the first assault rifle you get at max difficulty. It values skill and effort over broken tools.

I'll see you on the front, Helldiver.
