Short and enjoyable game, reminding me of "Game Dev Tycoon". Yet this time it is all about books ;-)

Unbelievably unbalanced and too much "early access" at the current moment

Swan song of Tango Gameworks studios, Hi-Fi Rush, is a masterpiece, which game design might be an example set in stone for the rest of the industry. The whole world and it's design lives up to the beat, making you dive into the flow & rhythm.

Not only the game is great for all it's entertainment, gameplay and comedy, it also was prophetic. It's ironical to see that "talent being abused by the 'evil' corporation pursuing profits" part of story was in the end the fate of it's own creators. And even more ludicrous is to realise that Microsoft closed a studio which actually was developing something worthy of being called a "game"...

Good game for a couple which is definitely not gonna be as good for a single player experience.

The script is full of moments which can make you and your partner reflect upon your life and attitude, and it's hitting the spot from time to time.

Yet gameplay is not something which could be the selling point for this game. We used DualSense and honestly this gamepad support sucks. Game made me think I had an infinite stick drift (as if 'Up'/'Forward' button was always pressed), yet it was only with this game (after troubleshooting it appeared that my device is in perfect condition and it's Haven problem) We needed to switch from a DualSense to just "gamepad" settings in Steam. And even afterwards in game it was lagging, switching off from time to time and movement controls were not feeling very responsive.

Despite these issues we set aside part of the gameplay and enjoyed the game as an interactive book/novel. Also if you're looking for a way to make your partner interested in videogames - Haven might be exactly the thing you are looking for.

Despite me being less than acknowledged with Warhammer 40K universe I must say that experience this game brings to the table is rather enjoyable.

Tactical potential of Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters is a "chess bliss" as nothing like 99% accuracy to miss X-COM'like is happenning anymore. Instead this game is built on sure hit mechanics, where something like ranged damage is reduced by distance and covers, making your game more "fair" to the field you play.

This along with a plausible for this universe story (I'm not a specialist, so it'll suffice for an outsider, yet this kind of genre entertainment is more about gameplay rather than story) makes this game something a player who likes turn-based tactics will enjoy.
Definetily can recommend for fans of this genre.

Good survivor-like game, which can catch your attention. Definitely can recommend it if you're fond of the genre.

I expect that content will be expanded and enriched, so there will be even more to achieve and experience. Yet as of now I believe game is there for 10-20 hours, depends on your inner completionist. Maybe in the future this will change drastically. (And damn my beard, I have no doubts for the better)

Damn, game is godlike good...

My sincere regards for the good old classic game being at its' best shape in the new wrap. It became better, it became nicer and most importantly - the charm is still there with every pinch of atmosphere and script you go through. Mafia still hits the spot.
Hats off...

I think the game is implemented in a good way, as it is quite responsive and comprehensible. Along with that it feels nice to play both on steamdeck and PC.

Yet I must give it a negative review, as game is not challenging and thus simply gets boring and repetitive after 3 runs I had (all successful). And this amount of time (+-3 hours) is not something decent for the card deck-building kind of game, which selling point must be its' replayability...

Qualitative gameplay experience.

Dragon's Dogma gives you a good chance to explore and play, treating you as a human being rather than a hollow husk of a player. It does not give you directions and hints on each of the mechanics, but gives you a pleasant chance to feel smart and cunning.

Along with that you have plenty space for findings and unique paths. Me and my friends somehow went totally separate ways throughout our playthroughs, resulting in discovering and completing different quests, which allowed us to share and discuss our time within the world of this game. And damn, there is really a lot to find and experience in a different way. I believe something like Sphinx and her riddles could be the apex of this feeling as it feels like out of the place in a good way and I didn't expect this game to test my wits so hard...

Combat is Capcom-good. I enjoyed my 72 hours spent on it. That's pretty much it for the Dragon's Dogma.
And when you'll get to Dragon's Dogma II // If you know - you know ;-) //
You will see a pleasant twist in both lore and the gameplay parts, along with new creatures to face to sum up the cycle and make you the author of your story.

Along with all of the aforementioned - it simply feels nice to know, that your partner in crime, your hand'made pawn will stay in this world after your story and will be able to help other people. Feels like leaving a tiny piece of yourself, your legacy, a good and final complementary addition to this handsome adventure...
